Why is Penny tagging along on Sheldon’s first date with Amy (Mayim Bialik) in the season premiere of The Big Bang Theory? Kaley Cuoco provided some much needed context at last night’s 2010 Entertainment Weekly and Women in Film pre-Emmy bash. The game actress also offered a spoiler about an upcoming episode involving expensive *o*o*s, and tearfully accepted Big Bang‘s EWwy award for best comedy series. The Cuoco Q&A is after the jump!
I got to watch the season 4 premiere before the taping of episode 3/season 4 this past Tuesday and it was by far one of the best BBT episodes I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to see it again!

Something about the way they do hair and makeup on Kaley gets worse every season. She started out as a goddess and not so much anymore. (I’m sure some will finds this sexist or something but we all watch tv a little bit for the eye candy – it’s what makes Hollywood go ’round)

Since this is Sheldon’s first date, I’m guessing they are talking about how many dates that she’s been on. All the inappropriate things that Sheldon says without knowing it, and now with female Sheldon there, it could be a really long evening for Penny. Can’t wait to see this episode!
Sheldon + Penny = Comedy Gold… I hope the writers of this show realize the magic they have between these two actors. I love it when they have scenes together.

I agree. They are already in a relationship, a funny, evolving friendship, There is no need to change that.
Well, I disagree. I’d LOVE to see them together. When they had that little sing-a-long lullaby to put Sheldon to sleep I kept wanting her to kiss him. Teach him love is not all about IQ.
Is there going to an actual funny joke this episode? Didn’t think so.
