EW Emmy Party video: 'True Blood' sexy beast Joe Manganiello teases Alcide's 'unfinished business'

I don’t hate him, I think he’s great on the show. However the only guy on the show that has real chemistry with Sookie, is Bill. That is probably the reason Alan Ball has restructured the story. I’d like to see Alcide interact more with Tara. They worked really good together for Sookie’s rescue!

Joe Manganiello is a great addition, haters can go take a nap! i would say sit down, but you haters are already sitting down at your computers/labtops…LOL…True Blood rocks! Best cast on T.V…nobody does it better!

Joe is a fine actor and Alcide is a great character. I don’t understand the negative posts at all. He has great chemistry with Anna/Sookie and S4 is going to be great with him as a regular. He’s GORGEOUS to boot. Did you SEE the hug between him and Sookie? That was hotter than any other sex scene in the show. TB is one of the best shows on TV and I can’t wait to see what they do next.

My god, to each their own preference people. But don’t lambaste the guy for doing his job. I love eric, don’t get me wrong, but all I’m saying is that joe is a great addition to the cast. And based on what he said in his interviews, it’s hard to book roles when you’re a 6’5 footer of a man (yummm…), in an industry where actors are shorter than him. And now that he has a role that fits him perfectly in which he does it pretty well and I’m expecting would let him shine in the next season, you haters put on a chagrin that he’s the worse actor out there. WTH…

And he doesn’t entirely put himself in his interviews, since most of the questions asked to him refers to his diet, and his role. What do you want the guy would say, talk about world peace and global warming? WTH.

And FYI, one of the reasons why hollywood is so buzzed about him buffing up is because he literally transformed to fit into his role. It’s hard to be that proportional and buff when you’re as tall as a tree, and he achieved it without looking like a plumped pumpkin on steroids. Which most people in this industry prefer doing.

That’s why people are noticing him. Hello! There’s a 6’5 scraggly hunk who out of nowhere, joined True Blood. Who in their right minds wouldn’t notice that.

Now that Alex Skarsgaard has made a stamp in this industry, let him make a mark for himself. Feck this people!

Anyhow, I’m soooo excited because wishfully thinking, he might be the next Superman!

Geez there are so many haters out there!!! I agree with the self promotion comments, really seems like he’s trying to get his girlfriend some press too!!! Give him a chance on TB, he’s only been in a few episodes people!!!!
