Sometimes it’s like pulling teeth on the red carpet. But bless her heart, 30 Rock funny lady Tina Fey volunteers the scoopage as freely as that nice lady at the Piggly Wiggly who gives out the free samples of GoGurt. In this pre-Emmy clip, she reveals that she’s booked Mad Man Jon Hamm for a return appearance as Drew in her show’s much-anticipated live episode, and she’s nabbed Emmy winner Paul Giamatti (John Adams) to play… Well, you’ll just have to watch the video after the jump to find out! (No, seriously, you have to watch it, because you won’t find out anywhere else. She promised me the exclusive. And she wouldn’t lie to me. Wait, would she?)

Love her. She looked stunning and was a great sport to participate in the opening.
30 Rock deserved to win something this year. Deliberate snub by Emmys was disappointing.
I don’t think it was a deliberate snub. I am happy they are making room for new blood or new roles-wish they could have recognized Fox instead of Cranston. But when I hear that Fey submitted the Dealbreakers episode, that almost makes me wish they’d given it to her again, because when she is spinning that basketball… funniest moment on TV this year.
Oh Tina.. I hate Edie Falco for you. Ok to lose to Modern Family, but Tina deserved the award this year.
The other live-guest is Matt Damon! Period.
I love Jon Hamm!
ilove glee ,
Falco is of course a great Actor. But the Emmy’s need to seriously consider defining what a Comedy is and what is a Drama. Those shows that are Dramas with some slight comedic touches like Nurse Jackie should be considered Dramas. Falso again is a good actress, but this award was undeserved. Furthermore, if Falco believed she wasn’t worthy or didn’t deserve the nomination or the award, instead of faking humility, she should just remove herself from consideration or ask Showtime to submit her in the Drama category next year.
In TV world, 1/2 hour = comedy, 1 hour = drama. That’s it. Dumb.
Uh…. Glee
Yes. Very ugly.
Love Jon Hamm on 30 Rock. Mostly because it’s nice to see that he can be someone aside from Don Draper.
Hope you like it

thanks..
Drew’s coming back, I can’t wait! Tina looked beautiful too, one of my favorite dresses last night (also loved Jon Hamm’s gf’s dress).
30 Rock was the best comedy last year but I can see the Emmy going to a fresh show even though MF hit mediocrity around February and never left.
Giamatti plays a grouch from Staten Island? geez, Tina…it’s an honor to be written into the show.
It was 10 X better than the daytime
Emmys award..!! Where you don’t
have Vegas acts in the show…It was more of the old style show..!!!
Why did Jon Hamm end up with the old wind bag Betty White twice..!!
At least on this show Jon is with
people his own age..!!! Disappointing wishing that Tina Fey
would win or Alex..
First, Betty White is hardly a wind bag, she’s a cherished icon of television who shines in anything she does. Always did, always will. Second, its’ Alec, not Alex you nimrod.
You’re not that bright, are you?
Michael Sheen is the other live-guest!!!!
Love Wesley!!!
Oh hooray! Wesley, my luscious plum!
Joh Hamm’s character on 30 Rock is one of my very favorite guest characters of all time. Hilarious!!!
tina fey is da bomb
Didn’t Jon’s character end up with hooks for hands on 30 Rock? That should make for some interesting live comedy, some of it perhaps unintentional. (To clarify: Not making fun of a disability, but watching how he navigates the set in a live setting.)
