Colfer’s suggestion that Puck actually might be Kurt’s new BF spoke volumes about the likelihood that the jock Chord Overstreet will be playing will be making the passes. Haha so true about Chord Overstreet! When I actually heard that name for the first time, I thought it was the character name and I had to re-read the article. It sounds like the name of a character in a movie that plays an actor.
Not a stage name, just a songwriter father. (Paul Overstreet) I thought it was clever actually.
Oh, celebrity kid name. That’s an even better category than stage names. It’s not a bad name; it’s just… lyrical. Which fits, I guess, if he was named by a songwriter.

If Puck were Kurt’s new BF, I know quite a few fangirls that would probably sob sweet tears of joy. However, I think everyone and their mother knows it’s going to be Sam by this point. Who DOESN’T think it’s going to be Sam is what I want to know.

Nooo it would be horrible if Kurt’s boyfriend turned out to be Puck, the guy used to throw him in dumpsters! Just saying though, it’s obvious it’s never gonna be either Puck or Finn.
Also, yeah, it’s clear by now that it will be that Chord guy. Not sure if I like this or not, the guy looks a little too much like a model…
Puck used to throw slushies in Rachel’s face and they ended up dating briefly in canon. It’s a long (LOOOOOONNNG) shot Puck having any bicurious tendencies at all, but some fans do love them some Puck/Kurt.
The guy is a “sex shark”, catch him in the right (or drunk) moment and maybe he might get a little bicurious. Then again, Kurt might not want him, but if Kurt’s bestie Mercedes gave him a chance (and Puck is smokin hot), maybe Kurt might too. Maybe Murphy can consider it for a sweeps week or something. LOL
@Sophia: As cold as slushies are, I think being thrown into a dumpster seems much worse. And Puck used to make pretty homophobic comments at the beginning of the show.
Don’t get me wrong, I can see how it could bu fun for fans in fanfiction and stuff, but I really think it would be awful for the show.
I’d also say Finn, though he didn’t actually throw Kurt in the dumpster, he didn’t do anything to help Kurt either. Didn’t Kurt also accuse him of throwing pee balloons at him? Despite this, Kurt had a HUGE crush on Finn anyway. Also, though slushies may not be quite as bad as dumpster-tossing, it’s still pretty bad and it didn’t deter Rachel at all from happily making out with Puck. Teenagers hearts and minds are fickle. They could go from hating someone one day, then loving them the next. Would Puck ever go there? Probably not. Though I’d never say never. It’s fun to consider the possibilities, so bygones.
@Yo, it’s certainly not everyone’s cup of tea. Puck also used to call glee club “homo explosion” until he joined it four eps later. What can I say? Some fans like what they like and stranger things have happened in this show.
I like Puck/Kurt as fanon, but I’m not sure it would actually work as canon. Still, it could make sense in a slap-slap-kiss kind of way. Like Sophia said, stranger things have happened. And Puck IS a sex shark. I’m pretty sure he’d bang anything that moves. And probably several things that don’t.
@Alia, I was thinking about Puck/Kurt more in a foe yay sense, but slap-slap-kiss works too. hehe
Agree! Foe yay and S-S-K share a lot of territory, and I think that’s where any Kurt/Puckzilla (hello, omnivore!) ship would fall.

I’m super invested in it already too. I guess I never got bit by the Kurt/Puck or the Kurt/Finn bug. Finn’s just too stupid for Kurt, and Puck’s such a… Puck.
I’m already psyched out about Kurt/Sam though.

Again?! Why is it on every movie and show I’ve seen with a teenage gay character, they have that said character hook up with a jock or a football player who just so happens to be gay? The cliche has been beaten to the ground and isnt even realistic of the high school experience.
But whatever, that’s Glee for ya: recycled plot devices and zero substance.
I agree that it’s a cliche, but it actually makes sense for Kurt. He’s trying to get over Finn, and this new character is being spoiled/marketed as Finn 2.0.
