'Big Brother 12': Jeff and Jordan make a comeback!

Big Brother 11 winner Jordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder will make a surprise appearance on Big Brother 12 Aug. 11.  Lloyd and Schroeder, who met inside the house last season and began dating soon after, will return to the show to host this week’s Power of Veto competition.

The competition will be dubbed “Lovers’ Lane.” Seven houseguests will have 45 seconds to roll 16 bowling balls in an effort to strike down 10 bowling pins. Whoever knocks down the most pins, and stays in the game until the final bowler remains is crowned this week’s veto holder.

Schroeder is currently hosting original webisodes of Around the World for Free for CBS.com. He and Lloyd followed up their appearances on BB 11 with a stint on The Amazing Race.

ausiello-emmy-predixImage Credit: Justin Lubin/NBC; Bob D'Amico/ABC How competitive are the Emmy races for lead and supporting comedy actress? 'Criminal Minds' star Kirsten Vangsness calls A.J. Cook's firing 'a galvanizing experience'

criminal-mindsImage Credit: Monty Brinton/CBS; Cliff Lipson/CBSIf you thought Criminal Minds scene-stealer Kirsten Vangsness was suffering from a case of survivor’s guilt in the wake of costar A.J. Cook’s high profile dismissal, well, you’d be right. Making matters worse, Cook’s departure coincided with the announcement that Vangsness’ character—kooky computer tech Penelope—would be featured on both Minds and its spin-off, Suspect Behavior. While Vangsness maintains that her promotion had “nothing to do with” Cook’s exit, she concedes the timing of the two events was unfortunate. “It was a galvanizing experience—[they] just fired my friend,” Vangsness sighs. “It was a total shock. It absolutely affects morale. It sucks.”

TLC to air real-life version of 'Big Love'

The cable network that doesn’t shy away from controversial newsmakers (Kate Gosselin, Sarah Palin’s upcoming Alaska docu-series) is about to dip its toe into even trickier waters – polygamy. TLC announced today that it has picked up a seven-part series called Sister Wives that will follow a Utah polygamist named Kody Brown and his three (though soon-to-be-four) wives and their many children. The show will bow Sept. 26 .

The series begins with Brown announcing plans to take on another wife and her three kids – and apparently, the news is met with mixed feelings. The sister wives are Meri (the first wife), who is 39 with one daughter, age 14;  Janelle (second wife), who is 40 with six children under 15; Christine (third wife) who is 37 with five children under 14 and one on the way; and Robyn, 31, the soon-to-be fourth wife with three children from another husband. Her children are under the age of 10.

All the children with the first three wives were fathered by Kody Brown; The family has been together for 16 years. TLC says the children will appear in the series, though the focus will be on the relationship between the wives.

Sister Wives is from Figure 8 Films, the production company that’s responsible for TLC’s Kate Plus 8 and 19 Kids and Counting.
