This article snuck it in at the end, but if I’m going to criticize SNL for their poor recent track record with adding African American cast members, I also have to give them credit for giving Jay Pharaoh a shot.

Just like with the other three newbies, I have no idea if he’s going to be a non-factor or the best thing that ever happened to this show, but either way there should be a little more variety.

YAYYYYYYY Wife of GOB/ Leslie Knope! Ugh I wish Parks and Rec wasn’t pushed back until midseason…

Can someone please put this show out of it’s misery? The ratio of good stuff to crap is not worth keeping it on the air.

    • Jackal

Yeah, let’s put another reality show in it’s place, those shows are so much better.

I love love love Parks and Recreation! It is my favorite show on tv. The first season was ok but the 2nd season was awesome. Better than 30 Rock and The Office. Keep up the great writers and character development.

NBC doesn’t get it with programming, last year with the whole Chuck fiasco, csnceled/ renewed…down to the wire….then when they do bring it back but uhh we’re goning to try and kill it by cutting budgets and delaying it until january…morons…

I would like Ty Burrell, Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, heck, I’d like it if even baby Lily were to host SNL.

    • Carrie

I’d watch any of those, including baby Lily. I swear that she already knows how to deadpan.

I love Amy and Parks and Rec. Outsourced has to be cancelled immediately.

I work at a library and we happen to love our work and people feel comfortable here.
Things aren’t perfect all the time but overall friendly and caring people work there and its just expected that there is respect for where they are.
Yes, it’s not a big city library but maybe things are the way they are because the people working there actually enjoy their job. And we don’t see people as something to look down on.

i think shes really funny and nice so shes most likely to make ‘snl’ a more happier place because shes priceless

  • Ouch

Booooring… The season premiere should be a big “get” – Amy Poehler would have been better as a mid-season host.. Zzzzzz

  • Barry

WOW…first show of the season & they have another lipsynching singer on.

i think amy would be great for hosting.. but not the first episode. oh well, even so it will be hilarious!

and i havent even heard of that other show until now, but from what ive read i should probably consider myself lucky.

  • Phil McKrevis

How can it be referred to as a 1 camera show, when all the scenes clearly have 2 cameras shooting. Hrmm…

  • Bo

Im Sooo glad Amy is hosting she is the best! Love parks and rec. And Cris- Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin arent SNL alums, they just host a lot.
