'Grey's Anatomy' First Look: Check out the official season 7 poster(s)!

greys-anatomy-5You’re looking at the official poster for Grey’s Anatomy‘s upcoming seventh season.

Maybe.

In a shrewd marketing gimmick, ABC is letting fans select the picture from a field of six possible images—all of which are featured here.

Voting will take place on the official Grey’s Anatomy Facebook page; polls close at 9 p.m. ET on Sept. 16.

The common theme of all six posters: The new season will find the docs of Seattle Grace picking up the pieces following May’s bloodbath.

Thoughts? Got a favorite? Personally, I think Derek’s heart-shaped message, as cheesy as it is, is the most striking.

        I agree. It is called GREY’S Anatomy. I hate that they haven’t been focusing on her recently.

        they haven’t been focusing on her cos Ellen had a baby, so didn’t work as much! this way, she could still be in it, but not have to do as much. and let us know even more about the characters we’ve loved for 6 seasons, and those new ones

        She may be far back, but she and Derek are the one’s in focus. The way the photo is composed naturally draws your eye directly to her and Derek.

        George was my favorite! I can’t believe he is gone. I almost stopped watching the show just because he died but I couldn’t resist!!!

      I like the 2nd one too, it shows it more as an ensemble than all about Derek.

        and dereks face does look like it could use a good scrub, but he’s still super bangalicious, even with a dirty face. i like it dirty.

    I agree, as cheesy as it is, I think Derek’s heart shaped poster is more striking. I would like to see more, maybe with different people inside the heart, but have the heart/hand made from someone else’s point of view.

      I think those are maybe supposed to be Meridith’s hands. They look a bit feminine, even in the gloves.

    By far the best poster is the one with the original characters. They are the true essence of the show and the ones that made Grey’s Anatomy what it is.

    The second one is definitely the best. As much as I like the one with the whole cast, the 2nd one with the orginal characters on it just reminds me of how awesome this show was and will be again.

      That is my pick as well, though I like the one with the original cast members as well, but Grey is the soul, as you say, so it has the edge, and the blue eyes standout

        MIne too — the black and white and her blue eyes & it is still GREY’S anatomy. The last one looks like something from a bad movie.

      it’s crazy but I like this one two but for a different reason. She’s become the backbone, the mom somehow. She went from the broken whiney one we loved and hated to the backbone of all. She was really moving in her determination and sacrifice in the finale.

    I cant believe there is 14 regular cast members now that is crazy…But yah the one with the original six wins by far and the one with all 14 cast members can be the DVD cover

    Seriously, 14 characters, it’s stupid, 3 of them have no point in the show: Jesse, Kim & Sarah Drew!
