The high-powered trio — each of whom have their own shows either in syndication or cable — will tape four, two-hour specials in front of studio audiences in Los Angeles and New York. The specials will air on four consecutive Sundays in January to coincide with OWN’s much-anticipated launch on Jan. 1.

“We are going to do what each of us does, which is answer questions,” Dr. Oz told EW. “There are some things I am good at, and a lot of things I am bad at. I think Phil and Suze have similar portfolios. When we combine ourselves together, I will tell you what to do, Phil will tell you how to do it, and Suze will tell you how to pay for it.”

The specials were the brainchild of Lisa Erspamer, OWN’s chief creative officer, and Orman, who hosts shows on CNBC and QVC. “It’s the dream scenario,” said Erspamer. “They’ve never done anything like this together, so God only knows what will happen. They’re like rock stars. We feel like it’s a great way to kick off the new year and the new network.”

The trio will take audience questions during the specials. “They don’t always agree,” says Erspamer of the trio. “Each has their own area of expertise. They are all opinionated, lively, and strong.”

This won’t be the first time the three powerhouses are on the same stage: Orman, together with Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil, appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in May to help celebrate the 10th anniversary of O Magazine. Orman’s been a frequent guest on Oprah while the Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil shows are Oprah spin-offs. —Additional reporting by Nicholas E. White

Dr. Oz is the only one who has anything worth hearing

Wish they had Martha Beck, Oprah’s best columnist and occasional guest. She’s much better than Dr. Phil. Love to see her with Suze Orman and Dr. Oz.

yep, as always a rich black woman worshiping the white fellows, Oprah cares only in making her fat wallet fatter just like she is.

  • Neisha

I can not stand Oprah, a rich black woman worshiping white rich people. wow, how smart is it?

  • Ellen

Oprah should come out of the closet and move to an isolated island with her girlfriend. Period.

  • funny u said that!!!

I tried to watch this people’s shows and it sucks. it goes like this:lets bring a black guess to the show,so, it shows that we care then the rest of the guesses will be white . no browns , no yellows, only few blacks and us the migthy whites. that’s the reason that I despite Oprah and the rest of her rich white friens/associates.

this is a good one: HOW TO MAKE OPRAH LOOSE WEIGHT FOR EVER. WE CAN NOT DO MUCH ABOUT HER UGLY FACE.

  • just saying

Oprah is a sellout. She wants nothing to do with her black family. Most of her producers are white. She should reflect the people of different races and not send a message saying ” i kiss whiteys ass” i have no respect for her and she needs a huge dose of reality. you may be rich on earth but in gods eye you’re no better than the average person.

Please send me the list of the wedsite that Ms. Ozman talked about. The ones that she mention after she presented the checks to
the persons about lost money. I really enjoyed the new OWN program.
God bless you Oprah and continue to have faith in yourself. You are a mentor for me to continue and achieve to be successful. My dreams is to visit your new TV show. My mother and I visited your
other TV programs many years ago. (The Adam Walsh-missing child). Thank you and continue the good work.

    Dr Oz,
I just want to tell you how disappointed I am about your response concerning colonics. The way you portrayed it on the show today was outrageous and untrue. I have heard you say several times that people do not need colonics IF they eat healthy. Well, guess we do not need heart surgery IF we ate healthy and excercised responsibly either. The point is, people don’t, and sometimes someone needs a little help, as it is with colonics. Water goes in very slowly and after a colonic people are always told to put probiotics in their diet as to make sure to put the healthy bacteria back. When a colonic is done by a cerified therapist, it is impossible the colon get ruptured. Can a gastroenterologist say the same about a colonoscopy. No, dr Oz, I am very dissappointed and will no longer recommend your book or ideas to my many client, although I think you make alot of sense on many subjects, your bias against colonics and your judgement of it has turned me off to your show. Not nice!!!!
