Exclusive: 'CSI: NY' books John Larroquette for arc

Sources confirm to me exclusively that the multiple Emmy-winning actor—who has carved out quite the second career for himself as a dramatic thesp (see: The Practice, Law & Order: SVU, Boston Legal)—is headed to CSI: NY for a multi-episode arc.

The former Night Court horndog will play Deputy Chief of Manhattan Borough Detectives Ted Carver. Hard-nosed and savvy, Carver rose through the ranks and carefully navigated the political waters of the NYPD to obtain the rank of Deputy Chief. Look for him to butt heads with Mac when it appears the Big Apple is being terrorized by a sniper.

Larroquette is slated to first appear in the Nov. 5 episode.

If he’s in any way as creepy and menacing on CSI as he was on the Practice, I look forward to watching the show for those few episodes.

    Come back!!!!!

  • Dicazi

I’ve loved him since Night Court, and I loved the 1st season of his sitcom with Chi McBride and “Chill” Mitchell. (They ruined it the 2nd year.)

I guess I did not the last show of last season – but I watched the first of this season and where is Stella. Why is she not on the show with Mac. Help!!

  • Ginger

Hi Michelle gee, I’m sorry to hear about Adrian’s funny turn . I had a similar scare a copule of years ago and the trouble turned out to be partly due to a hiatus hernia and partly a reaction to a medication combo that didn’t suit me. I hope Adrian’s trouble turns out to be something equally harmless and that they fix it, soonest! Hugs to you both.
