A day after John Schneider was tapped to recur as Green’s DH dad, the ABC soap has cast Nancy Travis to play his mom in multiple episodes, sources confirm to me exclusively.
An alum of Becker and The Bill Engvall Show, Travis will first appear alongside Schneider in this season’s seventh episode.
Green’s character—a hunky contractor who Bree hires to, ahem, remodel her abode—debuts in Housewives’ Sept. 26 premiere.
Love her! Great casting.
I don’t even know who BAG is in the DH universe, except that he’s basically Mike DelFino 2.0. So I Don’t know what her casting really means. Been with the show since the beginning, so I’ll give it a shot though.
In the DH universe, BAG plays Keith Watson the new love interest for Bree and don’t judge him too soon re Mike DelFino 2.0.
I think he will be an original and leave a strong mark on DH as well as his family.

Renata, I agree. She looks like a slightly older sister, not BAG’s mother. BAG is 37, and although he’s hot, he does look 37-years-old. Travis turns 49 on Sept 21, and looks good for her age.

There are young parents around the world having children from 11 years old, it’s not that hard to believe.

Judging from some of the other actors who auditioned for the role, I’d say that the character is probably supposed to be in his mid-to-late 20s. BAG could certainly still pull that off.

Ha, I thought I was the only one who remembered him on that show. He really was great and funny on it, the best thing about it. Glad ABC still remembers him.

BAG has been working constantly before Megan Fox came on the scene. Some people just didn’t notice.
He was excellent as Metallo in Smallville and as Derek Reese in Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
His time to shine again really cool.
This woman is way to young to play is mom, they should have cast Donna Mills, since she played his mom on Knots Landing and I’d love to see her on Wisteria Lane.
