'NCIS: L.A.' Exclusive First Look: Watch the new main title sequence NOW!

NCIS: L.A. returns tonight with a new season, a new series regular in Eric Christian Olsen, and a spiffy new opening title sequence. The big twist? One of those three things is making its world premiere below (hint: read the headline again, silly).

Sweet! Thanks Michael! They really improved on the season 1 intro!

Any chance that the original NCIS has revamped their intro for season 8?

  • laura

Wow, what happened to Nate/Peter Cambor? I didn’t see him.

    • Donna

Is the shrink leaving of his own accord; or was he told to leave the series?

  • Shirley

Glad Eric wore a shirt so I wouldn’t have to giggle at his tiny nipples ;) (That’s nice!)

  • John

Definitely an improvement over the first season opening.

  • stephen

whatever happened to listing the actors names in the credits? at least list chris o’donnell and ll cool j

    • Louise

I was wondering that too. It can be really annoying having to read/ignore all the names that appear at the bottom of the screen for the first 5 minutes or so of an episode.

  • NoChance

They look good but I noticed that there are o names in the opening credits except Shane Brennan.

  • ggny

got to love CBS they seem like the only network that puts pride into their Main Title Sequence anymore

  • Dominique

Aahh it looks awesome! I can’t wait till the new season begins. But yeah, why isn’t Peter Cambor/Nate in it? He’s not been reduced to recurring, right?

    • Alex

According to the latest press releases he’s recurring now.

  • JB

Same graphics as the new Hawaii 5-0.

  • Jennifer

    I liked it.

  • Jennifer

    Can’t wait for season premiere.

  • pfb

Looks much better then season 1!

  • mcbridefan

Glad to see they kept the same theme song, since I have already had it in my head today awaiting tonight’s premiere.

  • JT

I cannot wait for tonight. Nate got killed off last season..

    • Dominique

Unless I’ve watched last season with my eyes closed, Nate did not die. Dom did, but Doc didn’t.

  • Ryan

Yeah if I was Peter Cambor I’d be a little sore right now. He was shown in the last one. Even though he doesn’t do much he’s main cast, and should have been shown if only in that group shot

    • Stevie

he was shown in the group shot… he was standing with his back to the camera on the right of the screen/shot
