Nickelodeon phenom Miranda Cosgrove has signed on to guest-star on The Good Wife as Alicia’s newest client, Sloan, a troubled pop star who is arrested on a DUI charge. Over the course of a paparazzi-packed trial, Alicia finds herself bonding with the misunderstood tabloid magnet.

“We’re big iCarly fans, so we really couldn’t think of anyone better for this role than Miranda Cosgrove,” gushes exec producer Robert King. “We were thrilled when she agreed to do it. It’ll be fun to see her handle both the comedy and drama in the role, and we can’t wait to see how she’ll play across from Julianna.”

Cosgrove’s episode is currently slated to air on Nov. 16. The Good Wife kicks off its second season next Tuesday.

age lessmate.c’om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. Maybe you wanna check it out or tell your friends..dss

  • ingmar

    Can’t wait!

    • Sam Puckettt is better

Jennette McCurdy is the better actress and the heart of the show, along with Freddie and Spencer – they make the show worth watching, I always found that Miranda was essentially the straight man with nothing to do/no personality (that could just be the fault of the writers)

      • Jon

Miranda Cosgrove is a good actress and all but i have to agree with you…Jennette McCurdy is better. She’s also a better singer than Miranda…just see some of her vids on her youtube – mebejennette

  • Michael

Sadly THIS will actually make me watch The Good Wife. I admit, I watch iCarly! XD

  • Candice

    LOL. I love Icarly. I can’t wait.

  • Seriously

So they got all the old people watching the show, now they are going for the teenie boppers. If only someone who can drive or not wear adult diapers would watch this.

    • Anna

Well then, Seriously, go out and do better. Get off your pity pot, quit sulking, and for God’s sake just stop already with the disenfranchisement. Go out and do something better, no doubt all those drivers not yet in diapers will worship the ground you walk on.

      • did they touch a nerve? damn…take the stick out of your butt, anna

      • Anna

        @…
Nope, no nerves touched, no stick up the backside either, just a simple observation that if you don’t like what’s being served show your superior self off to the rest of us plebians and present us with better.

  • Anna

They couldn’t think of anyone better for the role? Really? Thats kinda sad. These teen actors try to break out in different roles, but it just doesn’t work.

    • AK

Actually, Demi Lovato was pretty impressive on “Grey’s Anatomy” last season.

      • chattypatra

I’m with you, AK. I also think that Taylor Swift did a good job on CSI when she was on the show. I look forward to seeing Cosgrove; loved her on School of Rock!

      • martina

Come on, all she had to do was act crazy and say one or two full sentences. However I do like Miranda Cosgrove very much, and hopefully she’ll pull it off nicely.

  • Jeff from Jersey; yes New Jersey

Well, that will break Ms. Cosgrove*s mold as a tween actress. Break a leg, kid.

  • Ryan

Have to admit, out of all those tween actors who I can’t stand, I actually like Cosgrove. She seems grounded and I think she gives intelligent answers whenever I see an interview with her in a magazine. She seems to want to KEEP her TV fan base while branching out – something that you don’t hear most teen actors talk about. And I watch the Good Wife so this sounds cool. Way to go for all parties.

  • LlzS

Ah yay! i’ve never actually watched the good wife but I would like see Miranda Cosgrove in a different role so I’ll def watch

  • aby

I love The Good Wife, my kids love iCarly, but no, they don’t get to stay up and watch this episode. I admit I am curious to see her in a more mature role.

  • Joe

I love Miranda!! I’m just nervous this role doesnt foreshadow anything about her in the future…

  • Becca

Omg it’s really sad how excited I am about this lol

  • ggny

im kinda surprise Nick is letting her do this

  • brenna

Miranda is, in my opinion, the best teen actress out there. She doesn’t want to give up on her show to pursue new roles, as she is happy with both. She seems intelligent, and she is so funny on iCarly. I’ve never seen The Good Wife, but I will definitely watch this episode.

  • Bellie

I might be one of the very few people that watch both shows, so I’m definitely excited.
