The Sarah Connor Chronicles siren and EW Sexiest Beast finalist has been tapped to play the Buy More’s rotating undercover agent in this season’s eighth episode, sources confirm to me exclusively.
Other upcoming Gretas include Stacy Keibler and Isaiah Mustafa. Olivia Munn originated the role in Monday’s season premiere (and was hilarious).
Glau will next appear opposite David Lyons in NBC’s midseason drama The Cape.

It’s almost like 95% of shows get cancelled within two years or something and you could pretty much say it about anyone .
Sadly, it is never her that gets the show cancelled. Critics have liked her in just about everything. That being said, is it 3 or 4 shows she was in that have been cancelled? Firefly, The 4400, SCC….about all I can remember.
The 4400 ran for four years – on cable. She also was not a lead and not on the series the entire four years.
She was also on Dollhouse, don’t forget about that. Apparently, according to imdb, she also had a guest spot on The Unit, but I never watched that show.
Big Bang Theory didn’t die after she appeared in an episode. Give her some credit. This isn’t Fox.

We already know who is playing the character in Episodes 1 to 3. There is no Greta in Episode 4. If Summer is playing Greta in Episode 8, and they are already taping Episode 8, has there been any word who will be “Greta” in episodes 5-7? I’m assuming they will be “stunt casting” this character for every episode.
(I’ve tried asking this question on Ask Ausiello, but to no avail. Perhaps I send the question in too late )

Nah. There’s no way Chase, Undercovers, and The Event will ALL last the whole season. Chuck will get its back nine. I’d like to see Chuck and The Cape on the same night, actually.

Summer doesn’t need to be around for her name to be shouted. Nathan was supposedly going to start shouting her name on the set of Castle.
She was also in quite a few episodes of The Unit, which is currently in reruns in several locales
so is chuck capable of doing an episode that doesn’t include a special stunt casted guest star anymore? or is it just borrowing from the playbook of season 2-3 of 30 Rock?
It’s an ongoing joke. They different cast geek/pop culture icons in the same tiny role every week. IMO, this is how to do stunt casting RIGHT. (I’m looking at you, Glee.)

Summer is a 11/10 and unlike Munn, Glau has tremendous acting talent and grace.
