This episode was so incredibly funny. I’m surprised there hasn’t been a recap! I think the poor ratings may be due to how stacked Thursday night is now. I’m really hoping BBT gets moved back to Monday to open things up a little bit!
Ugh. I though BBT moving to Thursday might be bad news for Community. It’s a shame too, it’s become one of my favorite comedies… I wonder how 30 Rock fared in their new time slot?
I plan to watch it On Demand tonight but I really like BBT too, I do wish it were still on Mondays and move Rules of Engagement to Thursdays, I think BBT matches up better with the more family oriented comedies of Monday night rather that the randomness of two comedies before CSI.
I love this show. Why does it have to be on Thursday’s? There are too many other shows on that night. Now that Big Bang Theory has moved to Thursday’s, I think my Community is going to get cancelled. This will be a sad day. There’s nothing on on Tuesday’s or Wednesday’s…move it there!
I went the other way… I stopped watching BBT this season in favor of Community. In my opinion, BBT has been getting less and less funny over time. Last season was pretty blah; if it hadn’t moved to Thursday I might have given it a chance, but Community wins for me hands-down.
This show is so funny! What is funny about brain theory? or bang theory? CBS wins because there are a billion baby boomers out there.
I would like to see them play these characters covered in sores.

if anything, NBC will move Community to a more competitive time slot. Networks are dumb, but NBC has historically been pretty shrewd about recognizing and protecting good product.
troy’s falseto was so funny! i absolutely love this sohw, i hope nbc moves it to another day so the ratings go up, i’d hate to see an incredible show like this get cancelled.
I loved this one (except for the taxonomy errors)! Sorry guys, our order is Primates (with an s), and our species is sapiens (no capitalization and also with an s at the end). You only get a B+.
Except that the actual name of out species is Homo sapiens, since species name requires both the Genus and Species names be present. I know, I’m a nit-picking jerk. Carry on.

It was a great season premiere. Senor Chang was hilarious as usual. Betty White was in top form, as she’s been lately. This last bit made it the perfect episode.
This episode was amazing. So bummed that it didn’t compete well with BBT. I don’t mind BBT but Community is just so full of awesome.
I watch all my shows on TIVO so I dont waste my life on commercials…THis is with out a doubt one of the best five shows on TV…I always look forward to Always Sunny and Community hour on my TIVO thursdays!
I hope the crazy alter-ego bit with Chang wasn’t just a one-off gag. Could be a good bit to throw in occasionally, with him planning ways to attack the group. IMHO, although Ken Jeong has been in EVERYTHING the last couple of years he hasn’t been well-utilized in most of it. Finally caught THE GOODS the other day; funny as hell, but Jeong was given almost nothing to do! COMMUNITY seems to appreciate his talents and will hopefully let him shine even more this season.
