TV doesn’t always have to be smart to be enjoyable (and really, if you want smart, stop being lazy and read more) ; I didn’t find this show overly smart, but I did enjoy it and am disappointed to know it’s ending–seemed like it had potential.

Unbelievable that Fox axed this show after only 2 episodes! For me, it was the best and most intriguing new show of the season. Fox is quickly becoming a joke… no more “24″ and hardly anything else worth watching other than Fringe. Fox, just go ahead and cancel Fringe too so I can just delete you from my favorite channels, ok? Still trying to give “the event” a chance but let’s face it… trying to sell itself as a mix between 24 & Lost… there’s simply no way it could come even remotely close to achieving that lofty aspiration!

what a shame! i loved the pilot, and was quite intrigued. seems to me Fox didnt hype it as much as for example NBC did with “The Event”, which in my opinion is an inferior show trying to grab the Lost audience and at least for me is not living up to expectations. Hopefully they try it again for early 2011, they should place it right after American Idol.

this sucks! Lonestar became my new favorite show after ONE episode! How could they cancel it!? I say BRING EM BACK!

  • Lone Star Fam

This was a really great show and very highly critically acclaimed. It’s really unfortunate that today’s viewers can’t appreciate such a smart, well-written piece of drama.

      i agree!!!

I think fox is stupid for getting rid of that show the reason they didnt have rating was it was on MONDAYS it should of been on sunday nites!!!! theres a million shows on monday!!! i think lonestar was amazing show!!!!

I just finished watching the first 2 episodes that I had on my DVR and they were great, definitely left me wanting more! I think it all comes down to the time slot, Mondays and Tuesdays are riddled with too many great shows all at the same time, if this show was on Friday or Saturday night I would never miss an episode!

I think they should put the unaired episodes of lonestar on iTunes for free because I actually liked the show!

  • Paige

Bummer. I only pick one new show to watch every year…and this was it.

  • Jennifer

Uggghh! It’s actually devastating. I felt like before it even started the network was pushing it a little hard. But then after the pilot you could tell the show was forced on viewers. I really was entertained though I thought it was just gettting good. And Lie To Me? Seriously why can’t we pull that plug?! Anyway it’s such a terrible let down to fans when the network doesn’t even give something a chance. What can we do?

  • Crystal

Are they accounting for people who TIVO it? cause i thought this show was written better than most shows i’ve seen! I LOVED the first two episodes!!!

  • Crystal

they pulled the plug to fast, pick a new time slot and keep going!

  • Cheryl

I’m sorry for my friend John Moranville, (producer) he was so excited about the show. Oh well!

  • SCHMIDTY

Brian Keith making a design out of post-its was the funniest scene I’ve seen on TV in quite awhile.
Oh, and Bob reminds me of my new boyfriend. He’s way hot.

Seriously, I don’t get the TV viewers…with all of the crap TV out there, this show gets cancelled. It had potential to be very good, perhaps some guest actors dropping in on occasion, etc.

  • dom

it was a really good show maybe we shud petition to get it back on air

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I forgot to block the curse word.
