    This is one of those ideas that really seems like the perfect combo of creator/showrunner and show. Fuller’s shows have all been whimsy with a solid dose of darkness and that sounds like just the sensibility that would make a “Munsters” remake work.

    The only misgiving I have–and it is a big one–is NBC. If it’s going to work on broadcast TV it seems like a project more suited to ABC.

    Insult! They did this with Adams Family and it was so stupid! Lack of respect for Butch and Pat and the rest of the cast who are no longer here to defend their show.

    Brad Garrett as Herman; Kristin Chenoweth as Lily (Pushing Daisies connection); Ernest Borgnine as Grandpa; Daeg Faerch as Eddie (Pushing Daisies, again); Joanna Garcia as Marilyn.

    That would be my dream cast.
