    I think the reason for Jen Morrison getting so much negativity nowadays here and in other forums is that a few (and I really mean a few) of her fans still think they need to fight a war against House, which is absurd and only results in insults against Jen. This stupid fan war which is basically just: you insult my show and my Star therefore I insult your Star (Jen), because by doing that I can hurt you back. Sounds stupid but that is what it is. This really needs to end, because I think Jen really wants to move on, just like a lot of her fans want to move on with her. She left House so what, not great for her or her fans but she is an actress and she will always play different roles. She won’t stay on HIMYM forever either, because the show ends one day or for other reasons. Maybe some of her weller known fans can motivate and influence those particular few Jen fans to stop their war and not trigger anymore hate against her and enjoy the new things Jen does. If they don’t than this will go on and on which would be rather sad.

      You make a very good point, but you fail to realize that House/ Cuddy fans are like when sharks smell blood. If they get a just tiny wift of anything positive happening to JM, they attack JM and anyone who dares to say anything positive about her.

        It’s not like “Huddy” and or “House” fans dislike Jennifer Morrison it’s just that every spoiler concerning House is followed by a rabid Cameron fan demanding to know when she is going to return to “House”

        I wish her well in her other roles but,sincerely hope she will not return to “House” and hope her fans will follow and support her
        in all her endeavors

        Good rebuttal. The Huddy fans always come out fighting against JM, Cameron and her fans. You’d think that now that they have what they wanted, Cuddy as the only love interest for House, they could finally let it rest.

    Kyle MacLachlan was cool in 1990 but on Desperate Housewives I found him lame. What is this hassle about J Morrison character? She can’t be the mother, it doesn’t fit.

      He was really good as Charlotts husband in SITC…I loved his scenes with the actress who played his mother (Cliff Clavens mother)

    YAY for Kyle MacLachlan coming in for a few episodes of “HIMYM”. I love him and I think his nuance will fit well. Also, although I like Jennifer Morrison, I hope that she is NOT the mother. I must admit that I’m still holding on to the pipe dream that Alicia Silverstone is going to be the Mama. She was roomered to play the Stella part and then kaboshed that after finding out that Britney Spears was also going to be in the episode. I’m still hoping though. There’s nothing wrong with that!

    I think Sophia Bush should be cast as the mother… she is gorgeous, underrated and has great comedic timing

      Yes! That is a great and perfect idea. She is a little younger than Ted (and could realistically be in college, maybe) and is super hot! I love Sophia Bush and OTH!

    Kate, Jennifer Morrison was not the worst person on House, that honour goes to Omar Epps. I can’t stand his character and I hope he’s written out very soon. I think she will be great on HIMYM, she just won a Tony Award, how bad an actor can she be?

      Jennifer Morrison never won a Tony Award. Her play was terrible and was closed early due to poor ticket sales. You should really check your facts before talking about the Tony Awards here!

Be prepared for any and all threads about HIMMY to be overrun by the House Crazies once JM appears and it will get nasty since HIMMY is beating House in the ratings.

    I try to think about possible actresses to play the “Mother”. It needs to be a good looking actress of course, but also have enough star power to play as an equal to the rest of the cast, have excellent comic acting talent. Jennifer Morrison fits the first two for sure, but I do not see her as a comedienne. Of course the bigger question is, can any actress fit the bill to everyone’s satisfaction?

    Two actresses that IMHO could definitely pull off the role (though not exclusively) would be Kristin Bell or Eliza Dushku. They also have the advantage of having worked with many of the current cast members in past projects.
