'The Good Wife' First Look: Will Lili Taylor push Kalinda out of the closet?

good-wife-taylorImage Credit: Craig Blankenhorn/CBSThe Good Wife has tracked down a possible witness in the case of Kalinda’s ambiguous sexual orientation: Lili Taylor.

The Six Feet Under actress joins the CBS drama in November as a public defender with professional (and possibly personal) ties to Archie Panjabi’s intensely private, potentially gay character.

“Kalinda worries her past will be used against her by a competing investigator,” explains executive producer Robert King, “and has to convince [Taylor] to not expose confidential information.”

Might said confidential information involve a romantic history between the two? Teases King: “That is for viewers to find out.”

What do you think? Do you detect any romantic sparkage in the first look photo above? Sound off below!

If this show is your idea of “crap”, you must not like any of what’s on television lately.

Well, at least I hope you read something that has more of an intellect level than an Archie comic.

        You do read…right?

  • Kiki

    Yummy info!! thanks!

  • Rebecca

Wasn’t that woman in Mystic Pizza? She looks familiar and I’ve never seen Six Feet Under.

    • Jackie

She was also in the movie “Ransom” with Mel Gibson and Gary Sinise and the re-make of “The Haunting” with Liam Neeson, Owen Wilson, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

      • JennieO

        Don’t forget Say Anything.

      • Tego Livi

        Or Dogfight.

  • jeffrey bryan

This show just gets better and better. Who’s the casting agent? they brought back Martha Plimpton, and now Lily? EW should do a profile on them.

  • donner

Love this show so hard. Can’t wait to see how the season plays out.Go Archie! You need more screen time!!

  • martina

The best thing about The Good Wife HAS to be Archie Panjabi. The show just keeps getting better by the minute.

  • Ved

This is brilliance incarnate. Archie IS the best thing about this show, and she just made things more delicious being attached to Lili Taylor. Really doesn’t get better.

  • Diva

What about the girl behind the garage door?

    • Viv

I kind of want to join the FBI since it’s where all the ridiculously attractive, sexually aggressive ladies hang out.

  • HOUSEwife

Oh D**N! I thought it was gonna be an article on her wardrobe! She has such a great, edgy style! Love the boots!

  • Sandra

why there must be a gay character in almost every show?

    • Ved

No idea what you’re talking about. There are hardly any gay characters on TV. But many STRAIGHT character. My question is: Why must there be so many straight characters on every show. Take your homophobia elsewhere, Sandra. If you don’t like it, don’t watch.

      • Olive

        Well said Ved!

  • andy

think they should keep it a mystery b/c she does her job a lot by flirting with men and women i’d say
