God, please Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I hate this guy.
He ruined Galactica!
Ditto, that! If he has anything to do with a WWW remake, I will boycott it.
Didn’t David Kelly mangle the U.S. adaptation of “Life in Mars”? Who’s to say he won’t do the same to “Wonder Woman”?
The trouble with Life On Mars was the cast would only do a 1 year commitment, as they’re mainly movie oriented. It was planned for only one season. at least, thats what i read in the mags.
Bring back BRISCO COUNTY JR.!
Ron Moore is a “genius”???
Get off the dope dude!!!
I would love a remake of “Wild Wild West” only if Jim West can be played by an actor with tight buns and can look good in the tuxedo cowboy suits like Robert Conrad did! Seriously, I wouldn’t mind a reboot of this show only if it doesn’t get such heavy handed storylines like BSG did.
The Wild, Wild West was my all-time favorite show when I was 12. They started getting stupid with it and adding ridiculous machines and a lot of other stupid garbage. I was excited to see the movie come out I was excited until I saw who was in it. At that point I could see where that lousy piece of crap was going. I never wasted my time watching it. It was so bad that Robert Conrad turned down a doing a cameo on it. If they can stay true to the original idea for the series and leave out all of the extraneous garbage and if they can cast people with just the right chemistry I’d be all over it.
In the 60′s as Westerns were losing ground to Spy shows, WWW was conceived as “James Bond on horseback” to merge the two genres, in which it suceeded phenominally. Considering that we’ve not seen a significant Western or Spy show in years, a WWW remake, would have an uphill climb. The Will Smith vehicle only makes matters worse. I agree that Ackles and Padalecki have a chemistry reminiscent of West and Gordon, but expecting audiences to accept them as the leads on a new WWW after years on Supernatural is wishful thinking. Its not racist to want a White Jim West. Im Black and preffer that West be White, cause thats how I remember him, and its more plausible to the setting of the show.On the original BSG Boomer and Starbuck were men, but in the new show they are women and that worked well, because the characters were better written and acted than the original show. But if anyone out there preffer that they be portrayed by men, It doesnt make you a sexist, maybe you just remember the characters that way. WWW was a great show, but a succesful remake is a longshot in the technology jaded 21st century.
