Exclusive: 'The Office'/'Glee' crossover episode nobody saw coming!

Tags: , , News, Scoop

office-glee-ausielloImage Credit: NBC; Chris Cuffaro/Miranda Penn Turin/FoxOkay, so maybe “crossover” is the wrong word. But an entire upcoming episode of The Office will be dedicated to the Dunder Mifflin staff getting together to watch Glee.

Bizarre, right? And brilliant!

Unfortunately, according to an Office source, no Glee actors will actually appear in the episode. Which means that no, Dwight will not get pantsed by Puck. (Curses!)

Thoughts? You can express them in the form of song quotes below if you feel that would be more apropos.

    LOL!!!!!!!!

    • Larry David

So you put the word crossover in your title then when we click we realize its not?? Thank God that you’re leaving.

      • Nan

PLEASE LEAVE EW, LD! I’ve been seeing your negative ass posts all the past few days and they’re starting to annoy the heck outta me!

      • jari

        Couldn’t agree more with Nan!

      • Phil

Most of us are smart enough to realize it isn’t going to be an actual crossover since we know the shows are on different networks. You only made yourself look foolish

        LD, you’re a douchelord

      • Michael

Seriously, “Larry David”… who are you?! Get a life!

      • Brianna

I love The Office and Glee…so I’m so excited!!! These are my two favorite shows-what a fun idea that the Office workers had.

      • Becca

Larry David is a hilarious troll. You are all EXTREMELY STUPID for actually taking him seriously. lmao.

      • DREAM MOVIES!

I would LOVE it if The Office and Glee made their own movies! Great dreams! I know that Ryan Murphy screwed up with Eat Pray Love-but I believe in second chances. I think he should make a Glee movie and then prove that he can make a movie that works. And I don’t completely blame him for Eat Pray Love…Jennifer Salt helped write the script. This time he should do a movie by himself instead of having someone else help with the script. And an Office movie would rock big time. Anyone else agree??

      • agree

Count me in on that dream! Forget Sex and the City! Forget High School Musical! The Office and Glee all the way!!!!!

      • Me too

They need to make a Glee and Office movie NOW!

    • Jason

Please, please…let Jan dance again in this one. “You took me by the ha-a-a-nd, and made me a ma-a-an, that one night…you made ev’rything alright…”

      • Kendra

Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! The Hunter!!! The most AWESOME episode EVER!!!

      • Bunny

        That would be AWESOME Jason.

I don’t care how many times it comes on, any time I can see “The Dinner Party” I’m in! I even watch it on Netflix. That and “The Injury.”

    • Tom

Becca and Larry David are the same person. Nice try jack-hole!!!

  • Mata

This has win all over it! Except for the whole Puck not getting to pants, trash dump or slushie Dwight.

    • G

Maybe someone else will slushie dwight. Angela! Or Phyliss!

    • silverrose

good idea, but id rather see Dwight go one on one with Sue

  • Cari

excellent…..this is an episode I might have to catch in real time.

Reminds of the time the Seinfeld kids gathered to watch Melrose Place!

    • Brock Germain

AGREED! Was gonna post this! Def MP/Seinfeld vibe!

  • Marie

    OMG YES TO THIS.

  • JennC

I’m so excited! And I just can’t hide it! I’m about to lose control, and I think…I like it.

    • brandinb

      @@@@@@ ;) ;)

  • Hillary

Ha! That sounds amazing! I’m thinking Michael’s definitely going to be identifying with Sue.

    • JBSmoove

OMG, could you imagine a boss like sue to replace michael. HAHAHA. Sue is the best characher almost ever.

    • Jane

Don’t you mean Dwight would identify with Sue? They both are foils, not preotagonists.

      • Hillary

I just remember Michael thinking that Meryl Streep was the good guy in The Devil Wears Prada, so if something similar happened, it’d be pretty funny. Showing up to the office in a track suit and whatnot.

  • JBSmoove

Cool! I think i like this idea veddy much.

  • Allie

You know Kevin played a delivery boy that Michael kidnaps at one point. Think they’ll bring that up at all!?

    • Erika

YES! I was just thinking that!

      • murley

it would be hilarious if they commented on artie’s resemblance to the pizza delivery kid.

  • Josh

This sounds good because it sounds like an old episode of the Office where they do normal things and the funny comes from that. I mean this could have been anything, Lost, Dancing with the Stars, Jersey Shore(the latter two I hate) but it still would work great and makes me happy.

    • Jen E.

I agree! And while I hate reality shows, I love when my fictional characters love them….if that makes any sense.

  • Nate

I’d put money on the fact that Michael loves it when Will raps.

    • murley

      ha haha totally!

  • ?????

I’m even more glad that I’ve stopped watching The Office. I use to really like that show.

    • Jeremy DC

I know what you mean. After the debacle that was season six, I’ve lost interest. Hearing about this reminds me of why I’m not watching anymore.

    • Brian

I still watch and love the Office, but this doesn’t sound good at all. Maybe if it were a subplot, like when Andy, Jim, and Pam watched that Jessica Alba/Jack Black movie, but certainly not the whole episode.

    • JJ

Absolutely, this is why I stopped watching about a year ago. Nothing original, so now the Office has to ride the coattails of Glee. Great.

      • CH

That was my same thought. Feels like a stab at relevance.

  • dryedmangoez

Oh brother. This will either be hilarious or will fail just like that one episode where they spent the whole 30 minutes debating whether Hilary Swank was hot or not.

  • Emily

They should order pizza and Kevin McHale should deliver it. Again.

    • melissa

      HAHAHA that would be hilarious

    • Sam

yea and hold kevin hostage. it would be awesome if they were tormenting him like “why arent you in a wheel chair!?!?!?”

  • harry

    Epic!!!

  • Nan

Ya’ll this is soooooooo bomb. It will undoubtedly be amazing. But can I just say that I’m worried sick about Glee being over-saturated and that it may lead do its demise? Ugh I hope I am dead wrong b/c I think I love Glee more than anyone.

    • downtown diva

I’ll look forward to that episode. It’s too bad though that the characters won’t intermingle on the episode. More funny than Puck pantsing Dwight would be Sue or Coach Bieste pantsing Michael.
