The move — kind of a no-brainer considering it’s the network’s highest-rated series ever — elicited a typically low-key response from series creator Kurt Sutter. “Picked up for season 4 motherf—ers!!!!” he tweeted. “Thanks to FX for the early pickup.”
Season to date, Anarchy is drawing an average 4.9 million viewers. The third-season finale airs Nov. 30.

Sigh, The DishTV / Fox feud has kept me from being able to see this week’s ep. But this is great news.
Me too and I’m so bummed. But yeah for SOA – such a great show. I guess I’m either going to have to break my brand-new Dish contract or wait for DVD . . .

I feel your pain. I am in the same boat. I like my DishNetwork and I reall do not like DirectTV. I hope they solve this fued soon. Fox network is being very unreasonable and there contract isn’t even expired.

They are NOT airing the day after on Hulu. Supposedly waiting 30 days. this is what they said about the last batch of eps for Nip Tuck. Except the never ended up on Hulu. So after sticking with that show LONG past anything good, i didnt get to see the ending, as FX also wasnt running as many repeat eps either. Fox and FX blow – nothing on OnDemand either
You can “buy” the episodes via the Apple Store. $1.99 a episode, or $2.99 for the high def version. At least it keeps you from having to wait for months to be available on dvd.
Watch it on Hulu .I have cable and that is what I have to do.

HELL YES! The best show on TV hands down! I hope many more seasons will follow. Kurt Sutter is a genius. Not to mention the cast is crazy talented
How about getting a longer season? Say a 22-episode season instead of 13? Even if it’s broken in two halfs like USA does with its’ series. It’s already too long between seasons for this show. But it’s good news anyway! I just wish the season were longer!! One of my favorite shows!!

I sort of agree because more episodes of a great show seems like it can’t be a bad thing but really shorter seasons seem to mean more quality with less filler. With that in mind I’d rather have the quality that we get than quantity.
Kurt has said on his website that he has a verrry specific vision for the show, running 7 seasons long, in which the events of this season play a major role.
The Shield, which he was a main writer for, also went 7 (brilliant) seasons, building to an amazing ending, and Sons certainly looks to do the same. There was one season (3) of The Shield that was 15 eps, but most of the others were 13, but S5 having 11 & S6 only 10. Assuming he goes the same route, we’re looking at around the same for Sons. And that’s fine by me. its just very comforting to have a showrunner who knows exactly where he wants to go and how long it should take to get there.

great news but if i have to wait 10 months between seasons i’ll go crazy. I hardly survived the 10 month gap after last years cliff hanger this years gonna be worst! come on give a guy a break. at least make them 18 episode seasons with 10 eps this fall then 8 eps in like march

There ought to be a rule that Fox and Dish and the other “hostage” situations regarding the programs we pay for cannot leave viewers hanging in the wind.

I absolutely love this show! It really kicks a** but with the Dish Network/FX problem, i couldn’t watch it this week and it really sucks! I look forward to watching it every week and now I can’t. I hope they get this worked out quick
