This is so ridiculous! Can no one at ABC put together a decent scripted show anymore? Skating with the stars? What’s next? Dog walking with the stars? Food shopping with the stars? How about Checking out library books with the stars? Jeez Louise!

  • Amiee

They are actually making a show called Skating with the Stars?

Isn’t that one of the signs of the apocalypse?

  • Royal

I am really happy to hear about “Skating with the Stars”. I enjoyed the other skating show.

  • Darrin

So what about Detroit 187? Where does that go?

  • otis

The CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Company) has a popular skating show called Battle of the Blades with former hockey stars paired with figure skaters … all for charity. Too bad legal types prohibit it from being streamed into states.

I am happy to hear that figure skating will again return to TV..it is so much more difficult than ballroom dancing..just hopefully the judges are the best..for ex.Scot Hamilton and Peggy Fleming are excellent judges.
Hopefully some of the Russians will be used to skate.it is hard to surpass them.

I was REALLY looking forword to ‘POLE DANCING WITH THE STARS’… Hmmm… Maybe next season…

  • Diana

Skating with the Stars might be fun depending on the “stars” and the professional skaters chosen to participate. I hope Johnny Weir is included!

  • Cinema Goddess

Didn’t they already do a skating show w/ stars (I think Kristy Swanson won & hooked up w/ her partner)?

  • kermit

Just returned from my lunchtime skate at Yerba Buena in SF and witnessed Johnny Mosley tearing it up with Brooke Castile.

I can’t believe they are doing ‘Skating with the Stars’. Isn’t that the SAME thing as ‘Skating with Celebrities’ ? and from what I remember, that was a REALLY bad show. lol
Yes, Battle of the Blades is Awesome!! The fact that it’s NHL players, who can actually ‘skate’ is what helped this show become such a success. Its not tacky, or silly like the celebrity ones are, Most if not all of these players are SO talented. Definitely fun to watch and a huge hit here.

Enough with the “Stars” shows. We want Castle!!!!!

  • john jones

Castle is such a good show. Why take it off. Did u not have any more shows. Really disappointing

  • Pamela

I can’t imagine that we the viewers are so desperate to watch a program like this. Let’s get back to real programing! Please don’t intimidate the stars with a show that strains them to possible injury. Find something else to show!

  • Pamela

Bethany, your all trying to get money to assist your lifestyle, but give it a break! For that matter, all of you stars. It isn’t worth it!
