Exclusive: 'Treme' promotes Morse, Ennenga

Morse joined the HBO drama midway through season 1 as NOPD lieutenant Terry Colson. Ennenga, meanwhile, plays the teen daughter of John Goodman’s Creighton.

Treme boss David Simon foreshadowed Morse’s promotion in a recent interview with HitFix.com’s Alan Sepinwall. “It would be very good to have a police POV at the point at which crime erupts, and the federal investigations of the New Orleans Police Department start to compound,” he said. “That would make perfect sense, wouldn’t it?”

Can’t wait for Treme to come back!!!
David Morse is a great addition, but
Still hope that John Goodman’s Creighton is not gone.

I love David Morse. He was amazing in House. Congratulations!

  • gggg

There is no way they can bring Creighton back. That would be completely contrary to the David Simon MO and would be a huge dissapointment. Treme is not a hallmark TV movie.

Really gonna miss John Goodman from this show. His point of view was so dead on. He was one of my favorite characters. This show is great in all aspects and a true HBO classic

    Great news!

Man, I thought Goodman was an essential character for the show. I still have some hope since they haven’t found the body…

he killed himself. get over it. he was weak

Treme, along with The Pacific, were the only worthwhile offerings on HBO this year. Glad it’s coming back. But I’ll have to wait for the DVD set. I cancelled HBO after the badly written, boring trash of True Blood’s season three. Only when HBO dumps that garbage show will I resubscribe.

Boardwalk Empire is the best thing to happen to HBO in years.

Agreed. Boardwalk Empire is phenomenal, and totally worth the extra scratch for HBO.

I love TREME, but it’s hardly the only worthwhile offering on HBO this year. I get that TRUE BLOOD isn’t everyone’s, errr, taste, but BOARDWALK EMPIRE has been fantastic so far.

  • SusieQ

    Yep. Brilliant show.
