If it’s five nights, I counted only four days that it will air… Is there a back to back episode somewhere?

Is NBC that desperate now to bring a show so awful that no one likes? They cancelled Conan for this? NBC is DEAD!

I don’t think they cancelled Conan so that they could have The Sing Off…

I actually loved this show because I found it unintentionally hilarious. I’ll definitely be watching!

First, the show was actually good an featured actual talent from groups that needed no music or backing tracks. Second, I doubt it will air at 11:30 (Conan’s old timeslot) or 12:00 (Conan’s really old timeslot), so your claim that “They cancelled Conan for this” is just ridiculous. And I am a Conan fan.

Yeah, I enjoyed the first season. Whatever happened to the winner though. I hope they still get the judge one left side. He wasn’t as famous as the other 2 (PC Doll and B2M), but he’s the most competent.

I preferred Clash of the Choirs. Basically, the same show – but more choral and less singy-and-dancy. Does anyone remember Clash of the Choirs? Nick Lachey was on that show too.

are you sure this isn’t going into Conan’s old slot?

If you look in the 1st paragraph it says it starts December 6 with episodes that will air episodes will air Dec. 8, 13, 15 and 20. That makes 5 days.

I think this show will be amusing since it’s on for a limited basis and December TV is super dull. The highpoint from season one was Ben Folds…I hope he returns.

  • Sarah

    “Pitch Slapped”!! Love it!

  • Celimene

Was going to say… the real question is whether Ben Folds returns or not. Who cares about Nick Lachey? Ben Folds is the real reason to watch.

    A Cappella has two “p”s.

Other than that, love this news.

  • Barry

Another cheap crappy show from the network that specializes in crap.

  • Old King Clancy

I love a capella music, so this was my super guilty pleasure last holiday season. If you FF through everything but the singing and Ben Folds’ commentary (the amount that he knows about music is staggering), it’s a 20-minute smile.

Why would they let Nick come back as the host? He has no personality and he looked like his suit was 2 sizes too small.

  • Hernan Feliciano

I think out of all the singing talent shows that have aired in the past 5 to 10 yrs. This one is definitely the best. I do know one thing for sure. It’s definitely better than that extremely over rated show “American Idol”. I feel that show has run it’s course a long time ago. I will be watching, & recommend others to do the same. Thanks

I find the Sing Off very entertaining and it showcases great musical talent in America. Try singing without accompaniment. It is not easy.

This show is quality entertainment. I also enjooyed Clash of the Choir and I only wish they had more episodes of The sing Off.
