Breaking: Syfy cancels 'Caprica'

    Why do this so fast? Give it a chance/ The other reality crap should be canceled. This show is very well written. So pissed at SyFy!

    Well, after watching the Season 1.5 opener, I was wondering if it’d last. After the great first half of the season and thee great cliff-hanger, the new half didn’t start off well.

    Oh well, that’s what you get when you try to do Sopranoes in space.

    Bummer. Wish they would just air the rest of the episodes now; it was annoying enough to wait on that long hiatus. :/

    I think the problem with Caprica, albeit a good show, was that it takes place too far back. I don’t think we needed to see the creation of the first robotic Cylon but rather the relationship between an older William and his father and the war with the Cylons. I guess that’s the plan with the second prequel I just hope viewership can hold out long enough to see the next show through.

    Another show killed by a too long hiatus and a lack of progression happening since its return- too much Amanda, not enough Zoe

    I also think the new Tuesday slot has also killed it,

    personally I can see SGU being swapped swiftly back to it’s old Friday with Sanctuary slot very shortly too

    I really hope the Final Five episodes (he hehehhehehe heheheh) give some sort of tie off

      I agree about SyFy’s blunder with the hiatus and schedule change. Seems no one has learned yet that a months-long hiatus in the middle of a season is a bad thing!

    Are them more shows? I didn’t even know. I’ve been waiting for the second season to start. We are left hanging. Low ratings? Would watch sci fi channel and not watch this. Studio EXEC are morons

    So much potential was wasted. The direction taken in Caprica with the bratty teens in VR world was mostly uninteresting. The religious angle had intrigue, but was overdone too. There was little that the Galactica audience could relate to- not even a significant spacecraft or two. Few views of the other worlds in the Colonies. I tried to watch Caprica, but always felt unsatisfied.

    Just cancel SGU as well. I tried very hard to like that show, but it is slow, boring, predictable and I have no connection to the characters at all.

    In Caprica, I was engaged, intrigued, and very interested. I wonder if ‘ratings’ was the real cause behind the cancellation or if there were other issues that SYFY isn’t admitting to.

    FRAK!! I LOVE Caprica & DVR it every week! I just had a friend for dinner & to watch the 3 episodes from this season!! I want to see how the Cylons came to be. The whole story!

    Over here Caprica and Warehouse 13 have just started their series’ and Caprica is the better of the two thus far.
