I really hate to see Castle fall for another woman when he really has eyes only for Beckett– I think the affAIR WILL BE SHORT LIVED-Beckett always give’s Castle the cold shoulder when he’s involved with another woman & he’s alway’s confused & hurt because he dosen’t understand why she treats him like he’s always in the way. Beckett & Castle are diffientlily like Booth & Bones!!!

I don’t even think their will be an “affair”. Flirty? Maybe, but I think that would be the straw that breaks the camels back and Beckett will make it clear that while Natalie may be playing the part in the movie, Beckett is the “muse”. (even though she hates that term)

I hope sparks only fly between the women. Castle still needs to pine for Beckett. That’s what makes the show fun.

    • Alie

      That would be great fun!

  • Robin

I like Laura Prepon, but I don’t like her for this role.

  • JFWilder

I still think Laura looks a lot like OLIVIA in FRINGE….they could be twins.

I have seen this actress in several tv movies and her acting is less than stellar. Why not use one with acting skills or is this another made for tv movie. If so then she will be ideal.

    What if…
In a strange twist of fate…

Castle hooks up with Grey(actress playing Nikki Heat for the clueless)

    and…

Beckett hooks up with the actor playing Rook.

  • Dave

If Castle gets cast approval for the “movie”, he’ll probably go for some Jon Hamm-type guy to play Rook! And Laura Prepon will likely go red again since Castle is gaga for redheads.

  • Megi

I think it will be interesting to see Beckett’s reaction

  • puppy216

    You wouldn’t dare!!!!

  • iLoveBonesTooMuchButLoveCastleToo

Castle and Beckett are meant for each other so I won’t get too worried. And also, unlike in “Bones” I feel that a Caskett hookup is just round the corner, for some reason! And although Laura Prepon is supposed to be a “second Beckett” she looks absolutely nothing like her! CASTLE&BECKETT FOREVER!!! <3 <3 <3

  • Megi

Absolutely!!Although i like “BONES” bt it gets really frustrating to see a ‘romantic interest’ that keeps them apart!Hopefully Castle and Beckett will realise that they are meant-together!!

  • marie

It will be interesting to have a interest on Castle’s side and watch Beckett—it also means that there will be a season 3 and that is AWESOME!!!!! Best show on the air!!!!

  • Chav

Yicks!!! I got nervous for a minute thinking that casting was going to change the actress that plays Beckett. Woosh! Whom ever plays the “part” in for Nikki heat thought, should look similar to Beckett. I don’t see Laura as Nikki Heat. I will always think of her as “70′s” show, who knows, maybe there should be a poll or something on this.

  • Shelby

There are definitely REALLY high standards that should be met to satisfy a lot of fans. I hope she’s up for the challenge

  • Renee Dill

‘Natalie Gray’ was awesome on Castle this week! They need to cast her in a few more episodes ‘researching’ Nikki Heat. She fit right in with the characters and it was great!
