'Men of a Certain Age' scoop: Ray Romano gets a new galpal

alanna-ubachImage Credit: Glen WexlerRay Romano’s Joe is going to get really lucky when the new season of Men of a Certain Age debuts on TNT Dec. 6. EW has learned that the star’s latest galpal will be played by Alanna Ubach, best known for her role as a sorority sister/best friend in the Legally Blonde franchise and for playing Thomas Jane’s sexy neighbor Yael Koontz on HBO’s Hung.

She’ll play the role of Michelle in five episodes of Men, which also stars Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula. “During the last season, I happened to meet Ray at a hotel party and I immediately showed interest in him,” says the actress. “She’s a single professional woman who gets what she wants. She travels a lot so she’s lonely and usually takes a lover. She meets Ray and knowing they are complete and total opposites, it’s a turn on for her. He amuses her!”

Ubach has yet to learn if she’ll return to Hung, which she’s appeared in since the beginning. “It’s a really pleasant surprise. Three weeks before a shoot, I’ll get a call. That’s the nature of a recurring guest star. All I can say is, Thomas better not move. If he moves, I’m screwed!”

The actress’ other credits include Clockwatchers, Sister Act 2, and Beakman’s World.

If this were a show about older women, they would never let them date younger men. Hollywood double standrads

MOACA is a great show; she will really fit in

If she was the one at that hotel party Joe went to on one episode, I didn’t think she was too great, nor much of a good match for his character. I’ll wait and see.
But I do love the show.

She played a prosecutor in “Eli Stone” and was soo short she had to move the judge’s name plate to see over the bench during a sidebar. Cute, funny and petite; the Hollywood working actress hat-trick.

How many people remember that Allana played “Noreen”, Marcia’s lesbian girlfriend, in The Brady Bunch Movie? IMHO, one of the more memorable parts in the movie.
