ABC confirms he’ll appear in at least five episodes of Brothers & Sisters as a love interest for Field’s Nora Walker. The arc will begin in early 2011. (The casting was first reported by Michael Ausiello.) Earlier this week, EW reported Balthazar Getty’s Tommy Walker will return for the show’s 100th episode in January, and bring along a love interest of his own (Mad Men‘s Cara Buono). Getty and Buono are expected to appear in at least three episodes this season.

Seriously why can’t Nora date the same guy for any significant amount of time? She gets one maybe two dates and then they send the guy away. I love all the profile actors she has gotten to go out with (Treat Williams, Danny Glover, etc) but I guess I’m more in favor of them finding someone with a lower profile if it means Nora can be in a relationship for awhile.

this show needs more gay charactors
This show really is showing it’s age. I dare say that this might be it’s final swan song year and will be canceled at the end of the 2010-11 season! It just does not have long term legs that it needs for another season! With the best cast members already having jump-ship it really is a telling sign!
I agree with you, but I read somewhere else that its got a really good shot of being renewed and the network thinks it has had a creative upswing. I used to love the show but it is not what it once was. At this point I tune in out of habit.
