But the host — who stars in Nov. 24′s Love and Other Drugs — and the fire-topped Florence Welch, frontwoman of Florence and the Machine, will hopefully sizzle overseeing Saturday Night Live this weekend. She is an okay actress, I thought Rachel Getting Married was overacting but one thing I feel strongly about is that she should definitely NOT play Judy Garland in the upcoming biopic about her, and please not sing any of her music

The Academy also failed to give Martin Scorsese an oscar until the Departed, they also thought Slumdog Millionaire was the best picture, Judy Garland’s A Star is Born did not win best picture, etc, etc. The Academy gets a lot things wrong year after year
Yeah, well, the Academy and most everyone who saw the movie. Anne was near perfection in that movie. “Overacting” as you call it, was part of her character. That is one of the reasons she is so hard to like as a character. I thought she was a total revelation in that movie–didn’t even know she was capable until then.
