MSNBC has suspended Joe Scarborough for making contributions to political candidates. In a statement, MSNBC president Phil Griffin said that “This morning Joe Scarborough informed me that he made eight contributions of $500 each to local candidates in Florida between 2004-08. In my conversation with Joe two weeks ago, he did not recall these contributions. … He will be immediately suspended for two days without pay and return to the air on Wednesday…”
Scarborough, who hosts the popular morning talk-show Morning Joe, is a former Republican U.S. congressman from Florida. His suspension comes just two weeks after MSNBC similarly suspended liberal commentator Keith Olbermann for making contributions to three Democratic politicians.

At least there are 2 days I can safely watch he show–whn te windbg is not there!
You were waiting for him to leave his own show so you could watch it?
You could understand what she was trying to say? Illiteracy is running rampant in the US! No wonder she watches MSNBC.
NBC is not a network for grownups! It was totally unnecessary to suspend Olberman and now Scarborough.
A rule is a rule. It does seem cheap that they are suspeding Ol’ Joe, but the statement made it sound like he was asked to weeks ago if he made contributions and didn’t say anything, but came forth in the last day. If he was asked directly and lied, then he deserves suspension for lying.
Ugh, TWO weeks ago. Sorry.
I’m sure Joe’s candidates were a far cry from the scum supported by keith (all about myself) olberman……
