We showed you a first look of Daniel Benzali on ABC’s General Hospital: Now here’s an exclusive sneak peek of his appearance, which begins Dec. 6. Benzali will play Theo, a hypochondriac patient who befriends Dr. Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) in her time of need. This scene also includes Scott Reeves as Dr. Steven Webber and Jason Thompson as Dr. Patrick Drake.
Benzali’s story arc will stretch well into 2011.

I agree it’s a shame Ted King and Tristan Rogers are on other soaps instead of GH where they belong but I’ll still watch GH and think this could be a good hire for the show.

Yes, all three of the hospitals top docs are waiting around for patients who have themselves taxied in looking for what–the ER? Urgent Care? This makes no sense…as is par-for-the-course as far as soap writing is concerned. What a joke.

He’s The Balkan!!! He’s befriending Robin to get to Brenda. Jerry Jaxs is just one of his henchmen. There’s no way Jerry is TB, because I don’t believe they would have Brenda pregnant with Jax’s grand nephew. Much like I don’t believe the mystery baby is Dante’s, because I don’t think the producers would have Brenda pregnant with Sonny’s grandkid (even if she miscarried).
I think he’ll make a credible bad guy. Along the lines of Jerry Jacks and Manny, someone you believe could be a threat to Sonny and Jason.
@ DEE–love your idea that Benazi was cast as the Balkan and involve Robin in Brenda’s storyline. They are BFF’s but they barely share scenes together. Doubt the writers are that smart to think of it. The Balkan storyline needs to become interesting again.
