'Nikita' scoop: Michael and Nikita get closer, Alex graduates, and someone will finally have sex!

The agents on The CW’s Nikita aren’t the only folks who are able to obtain top-secret information. EW has infiltrated the show’s production office (or maybe just talked to executive producer Craig Silverstein) and has tons of juicy info on the action series’ upcoming plotlines. SPOILER ALERT! Look for Lyndsy Fonseca’s Alex to finally get out of Division’s lair. “Alex will be graduating from recruit to full Division agent, but it will come at a terrible cost,” says Silverstein. “After our winter break hiatus, there will be a major shift in the show as Nikita and Alex will be working together on the OUTSIDE.  No more recruit pajamas! No more Stephen Hawking computer voice! Like Nikita before her, Alex will be out in the real world, with her own apartment, wardrobe, and car.” Also, Alex will be getting a new potential love interest in the form of soap star Thad Luckinbill, who actually played Fonseca’s love interest years ago on The Young and the Restless. Luckinbill’s first appearance will be on the Jan. 27 episode. Also popping up in a guest role, look for Roswell‘s Brendan Fehr in February.

Meanwhile, we’ll get to know a little more about Alex’s mentor Nikita (Maggie Q). Says Silverstein, “We will reveal the location and origin of Nikita’s lair, and yes — we’ll learn where she got all her ‘money.’ It may not be as much as you think… ” Plus, “Nikita and Michael’s relationship will take another turn, bringing them closer in an unexpected way.”

And, perhaps the most exciting plot point we were able to get out of Silverstein: “There will be sex.  On this show.  Finally.”

Sounds like a Coen brothers movie: “There will be Sex”

    LMAO

    • Zombie Jesus

Sorry, meant to say Paul Anderson, not Coen. Well, I’m a joke killer.

  • JBD

Excited for Roswell’s Brendan Fehr. I’m hoping Nikita gets a second season pickup over Hellcats. This show started out rocky but it’s getting better every episode.

    • Lia

I love Nikita and Hellcats. Hopefully the CW won’t be dumb enough to let either one go.

      • Kris

I don’t they will unless Hellcats takes a major nosedive after Winter hiatus.

  • Sunshine

Zombie … no, actually your pretty hilarious
Well, apart from your name .. ulp!

    • Zombie Jesus

Interesting, considering it’s my legal name.

Not the zombie part of course. That’s there because I have been in love with zombie movies since Shaun of the Dead

  • Dee

Nooo….not happy Alex is getting a new potential love interest. Why?? Thom and her are so good together!

    • Diva

Yes! What does this mean for poor Thom. Please, please let the sex be bewteen Michael and Nikita.

    • TJ. Church

Not a problem with the love interest as I had thought w/earlier reports, but need to keep Division.

  • forensicduck

I AM RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED FOR THIS. For all of this: Alex graduating, Brendan Fehr, finding out how the hell Nikita can afford everything (always thought that was weird), Michael/Nikita getting closer and, of course, sex.

  • Alex

Nikita and Michael? What about Nikita and OWEN? That’s the real hot chemistry – not with Michael. More Owen, please!

    • lalalallala

      ITA!!! Love Owen.

      • melissa

never seen the movie but it sounds good

  • Ellie

No, not another potential love interest for Alex! She already has two really good ones in the form of Thom or Michael. Surely there’s more to explore there?
Nikita should be with Owen, that chemistry is golden – I just don’t see it with Michael.

    • Kris

I don’t think Michael is a serious love interest for Alex. He’s more of a guardian or older brother figure for her. I don’t think either are interested and the PTB have made it clear that Nikita/Michael is the direction this show is heading.

      • tatum

If they wanted the guardian route with Alex and Michael then they picked the wrong actors. Cause Alex and Michael are hot

  • Valerie Falkow

    YAY!!! so excited…love this show!

  • sheilar8

    yay sounds really interesting!! i

  • Kris

I am in L.O.V.E. with this wonderful show.

  • M.

Well it wouldn’t be a CW show if there weren’t some steamy sex scenes between two hot bodies…anyway

  • Michelle

As long as the sex is Michael and Nikita, I’m happy. :)

  • Jobless

    Maggie Q is so HOT!

  • ShannonW

Interesting that Lyndsy and Thad are going to be together again. Hollywood is a small world, but is that the reason Thad just left The Young and the Restless out of the blue, taking Victoria’s and his child away from her? (Don’t get me started) But what happened to Bug Hall? Seriously, does every guy on this show have to make googly eyes at Alex leading us on?

  • Jen

SO EXCITED FOR ALL OF THIS! Everything sounds AWESOME! YAY!!!
