Fox confirmed that the remaining five episodes (including a one-hour finale) will not air this month as initially planned. The network says that the episodes will air at a later date, but could not say what that date is.

UPDATE: Fox announced the new day and airtimes for the remaining episodes. They are:
Sunday, December 19 at 7 and 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, December 26 at 9:30 p.m.
Tuesday, December 28 from 9–10 p.m. (one-hour season finale)

I so wanted to like this show, because I adore Keri Russell, but it was pretty bad! I really did like the little girl who played Puddle. I hope she and Keri can find better shows in the future!!

    • Katja

I wanted to like it too, though in my case because I loooove Will Arnett, but I just didn’t think it was very funny, even after several episodes. It made me really sad the first night we watched Raising Hope and then turned the TV off.

    • lefty

seriously, it had so much promise. I watched the first episode…and I don’t even think I finished it. So terrible.

      • Tommy

I totally agree! I was so excited for this show… until I actually watched it. It deserves to be cancelled, and Keri Russell deserves to be on a better show.

    • suzie

I totally agree with you! I soooo wanted to like this show!… also LOVE Keri Russell, Will Arnett (and am a AD and Felicity fan). I felt only the three characters were likable (Keri, Will and “Puddle”). Keri & Will had GREAT chemistry! Puddle was so adorable and real. However, the other supporting characters to me were too over-the-top and unreal. Like with AD, the characters were outrageous but still so real. Loved em. I also agree that Keri deserves a GREAT show to be on. She is so likable and charming. Don’t know why she is not America’s sweetheart as opposed to Aniston. One reason I think is that Keri’s also prioritizes family and she is not aiming to be a mega-star like some of those desperate actresses out there. Good luck, Keri.

      • suzie

P.S… also, the story plots were kind of dumb and only so much you do with the premise of rich man and environmentalist girl… trying too hard and getting nowhere. Sad, because this could have been an awesome show!

I hope Will Arnett can find a another show to play Will Arnett in again. That guy has the acting range of a rock. (which isn’t fair to rocks that can play either boulders or pebbles)

    • zack

      or stones….

    • Anth

      He’s solid–solid as a rock!

  • JLC

This show actually seemed to be hitting its stride, but then they started showing episodes out of order and messed up the flow. Still, no one really wants to see Will Arnett act like a decent guy or Keri Russell act like a materialistic putz, so their character arcs were doomed. I just hope Peter Sarafinawicz finds something else. His Fa’ad was consistently hilarious.

    • Flyer

I agree. Fa’ad was the one truly bright spot in what turned out to be such a major disappointment.

    • Bobby’s Robot

Fa’ad was the only reason I hung in as long as I did.

  • Flip

I thought the show was better than Raising Hope and I’d like to see the final episodes (on tv, though—-not sure I’d buy the DVD).
Oh well—-onto the Arrested Development movie! Just cast Keri as a love interest for Gob.

  • Noah

Did/will they ever reveal what Puddle’s “thing” is? It was a tease at the end of the pilot, but the subsequent episodes I watched (I gave up after ep. 4 or 5) never alluded to it again.

    • JLC

In the episode two weeks ago, she was looking at her “thing” in a suitcase or a trunk or something. Still never revealed it.

  • Dicazi

One of only 2 new shows that I’ve seen that I’ve actually hated. The other 1 is $#%! my Dad Says.

  • Robbie

Get Will in an ensemble comedy, and Keri a lead in a romantic dramedy. That’s where I want to see them.

  • Jen E.

I can’t believe the same genius that brought us AD gave us this show. I hope you kids see what a silly waste of resources this was.

    • Brooke B

Quite possibly my favorite comment on a message board ever.

    • Dov Sellem

You obviously no absolutely nothing about comedy!

  • mary

I actually liked this show. I guess I was the only one.

    • rhonda

I’m with you, Mary. I enjoyed the show, but then again, I’m a Will Arnett fan.

    • T. O.

You’re not the only one. Seeing Will Arnett on my TV was the highlight of my week, every week. I think he’s brilliant, and I love the way he delivers his lines — never fails to make me laugh. I’m desperately hoping FOX will air the rest of the episodes, even if it takes them a while to get around to it.

    • Flip

I liked it too. Not so much for Will Arnett, but for everyone else.

    • Joan

You’re not the only one who enjoyed this show. I do as well and it has gotten better since the pilot. This show makes me laugh out loud.

    • joblo

I like it too. I thought the pilot was hilarious, then it struggled a bit, but it’s hit its stride again and it makes me laugh. I’m sad that it will not get a chance to live on.

    • tvgirl

I loved everything about the show, the cast was amazing. It wasn’t your typical sitcom, you know, over-weight husband, attractive wife, 3 kids, annoying neighbor, blah blah blah. It was perfect mindless, entertainment with smart dialogue. Loved it.

  • nunya

Boo! Just when the show was getting better. The Andy Richter episode was especially hilarious.

  • acr65

As an Arrested Development fan I so so SOOOOOO wanted to love this show but it just didn’t hit the mark. Better luck next time Will Arnett.

  • Jess

I really like this show. It keeps getting better. Everyone quit because the pilot was rocky- but a lot of good shows have bad pilots. This show just needed time to develop.

    • Brooke B

That’s a good point – I watched a few (especially enjoyed Fa’ad locked in the frozen vodka cellar) but when the episodes stacked up in DVR, I had to quit and admit “I’ve made a huge mistake”.

  • jacie

    oh Boo Hoo!

  • Iakovos

Valiant effort but no go. Just was not all that great in my book. Agree with the one post… Keri and the child actress need something new and soon.

  • shoutycat

Awww booo, I was really enjoying this show! Not my favourite show of all time, but definitely better than most of the garbage out there.
