Marc Cherry developing drama for ABC

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry has a new show in development at ABC: Hallelujah would center on a small town “which finds itself being torn apart by the forces of good and evil,” according to Variety. Things improve, however, when a stranger comes to town “looking to bring justice, peace, and a little bit of faith” to the residents of Hallelujah, Tenn. Don’t necessarily expect to see Hallelujah on your TV set yet, though: This is just a script deal, and the show has yet to be ordered to pilot.

      Yep it does. Why does all Abc shows are only great the first seasons, then they kill it the second season and then ruin it by the third but it gets better the fourth and it gets soo much better by the fifth and the six Im watching it again. I want the first, second and third to be awesome. Greys, and Lost only seem to come to mind. Despereate Housewives sucked after the first season and cannot redeemed itself after a horriendous 2nd and 3rd and 4th and 5th.

    First Shonda with Off the map and now Cherry, it looks like the big names at ABC are the only people given much of a chance
