At the risk of sounding like a broken record, no Community??? AGAIN???!!!
OH, and also, no Fringe??? AGAIN???!!!
At the risk of sounding like a broken record:
I can’t get no satisfaction tck faction tck faction tck faction tck faction tck faction tck faction tck faction tck faction tck faction tck faction tck faction tck faction tck faction tck…
Agree with you.
I just don’t get it.
Community is so good.
I think they’ve been left out because they have the whiniest fans since Veronica Mars was canceled.
Seriously!! Or Cougar Town? And instead HOT IN CLEVELAND is nominated??
Yes. Can you believe it? They actually recognized talent!
This. Community is the best.
No Friday Night Lights???
One of the best shows.
Yeah, I had the same thought. At the very least, they deserve an ensemble nomination!
No Big Bang!! Not even Jim Parsons?!?!
How can you win a Golden Globe, and not even get nominated 2 weeks later?
Beth your frustration is understandable. Community is one of the best comedies on TV right now, and gets no love and almost no recognition.
Yea for Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch!!
I feel the same way. Chris is a true triple threat. Love him and Glee, I am so happy for him
Word, it’s really nice to see Chris getting recognition. He’s my favorite part of Glee.
He’s the little smiling robot with the girl’s voice, right?
I may also sound like a broken record but I will not watch one awards show until John Noble is recognized. I never really got over the fact that Sarah Michelle Gellar did not get the recognition she deserved for Buffy. I feel the same about John Noble!
Ummm… Whose John Noble?
“Who’s” you mean. The guy who plays Walter Bishop in Fringe.
Maybe he did mean “whose”. Your being presumptive…….yes I know it’s “you’re”.
Even in the few episodes of Fringe I’ve seen, I totally agree. John Noble is amazing.
At the risk of sounding like the biggest broken record ever…no Friday Night Lights?! No Kyle Chandler!? (Seriously, stop nominating Hugh Laurie!!) No Connie Britton?! (stop nominating Mariska Hargitay!! No Taylor Kitsch?! NO FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS?!
I reckon the nomination lists just come with certain names pre-printed on them
I love Hugh Laurie and Mariska Hargitay, but really, time to find some new names. House and SVU really haven’t been very good for a few years now.
I don’t watch FNL, but yeah, Mariska and Hugh are totally overrated in those parts. I’d like to see some Fringe love.
You want to see Fringe love? ‘Cause I think there are some special websites for that.
I agree. FNL is SO amazing, I don’t know why the show and the actors are constantly snubbed. Yes, they FINALLY got Emmy noms this year, but otherwise…total snub-ville
Seriously. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
Seriously , Hugh Laurie did a good job thispast season on House .
I adore FNL and think that Kyle and Connie deserve not only to be nominated, but to win. But, I don’t think Kitsch deserves a nom. Hugh Laurie is still amazing as House, as is Mariksa as Benson. I think some of the other nominees could definitely be replaced by Kyle and Connie.
I was completely shocked that Hot in Cleveland got all that love. Now, I think Betty White deserves whatever award she gets nominated for, just because she’s awesome like that. But, an ensemble award nod? That’s…different. I would’ve given it to a more deserving cast, such as Cougartown and Community for bringing big laughs.
i agree!
Yay for Elizabeth Moss! And the cable networks are really dominating quality drama these days.
Another nomination for Chris Colfer! Yay!
No Lost, No Fringe? This is a travesty!
Oh, and yay for Jane Lynch, too!
Finally Ed O’Neill gets some recognition for his role in Modern Family!
yeah but i guess he’s not happy jane got nominated.
Happy for Chris Colfer, shows his peers know what a great actor he is by acknowledging his work on Glee.
After seeing the prremiee, the only thing better than this is the fact that SHE said I love you too and her face while watching the Hodgins-Angela-Michael video ! I watn baby Bones to be born! Now!
It’s Nurse Jackie, not Nurse Betty.
Thanks. That was bugging me, but I couldn’t remember the actual name. I just knew that Nurse Betty was the movie with Renee Zellweger (not a bad movie, if I remember correctly).
The best Ensembles – Drama are really:
TRUE BLOOD
FRINGE
But I am really happy for Chris Colfer, Ty Burrell, and Betty White!
I wish Chris Colfer AND Ty Burrell could both win.
yeah, why did they give it again to Alec Baldwin ?
Yeah I don’t get why crap like The Good Wife and The Closer get noms and awesome shows like Fringe, or SONS OF ANARCHY get no love??
HUGE fan of Fringe. LOVE LOVE LOVE It. That being said, The Good Wife and The Closer are both good shows. Would I have preferred Fringe getting a nomination over either of them? No question. Do I think their nominations are valid and well-earned? Yes.
The Good Wife is not crap, especially if you’re talking about an ensemble cast. Every single actor holds their weight on that show, and I love how they reveal bits and pieces about the characters slowly so that everyone still has a bit of mystery about them. I don’t watch SOA so I can’t comment on it, but The Good Wife deserved that nomination and Fringe should probably be up there too.
The Good Wife is the furthest thing from crap actually. That nom was much deserved!
OMG! Are you serious?! The Good Wife is probably one of the best shows on TV right now and it has a cast that delivers nothing less than perfection every single week. And The Closer is really good. Yes, Fringe and Sons of Anarchy are great too, and they probably deserved a nomination. But don’t go around calling shows you probably haven’t even watched ‘crap’ just because the shows you were rooting for weren’t nominated.
Why is there never any awards love for The Middle’s Patricia Heaton? 30 Rock is well past its prime, and while Tina Fey is a great, she hardly deserves to edge out much more accomplished comic actors year after year. And Southland gets a nomination for best stunt ensemble, but no acting nods?? Instead, it’s the same old crew – Hargitay, Sedgwick, Laurie …
Because Patricia Heaton is a conservative right wing radical idiot and nobody in Hollywood likes her!! Do you not remember her campaigning to get the Sex and the City posters removed from the NYC subways???
Yeah, and talking smack about Michael J Fox and stem cell research.
Ahh, my bad, I thought the SAG awards were supposed to reward good performances, not political activism.
For the record, Heaton didn’t exactly talk smack about Michael J. Fox, she participated in an ad that opposed a constitutional amendment in Missouri related to embryonic stem-cell research. It happened to air during a campaign season that also featured an ad with Fox supporting embryonic stem-cell research. Rush Limbaugh later mocked Fox, but Heaton had nothing to do with that. She later apologized to Fox for the impression that he was being mocked, and according to the New York Times, Fox himself said, “If we can have a healthy dialogue about issues that people see differently, that’s marvelous.” (YouTube clip of the ad itself is here, and there’s no mention of Fox – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nguJQ_dRPXw)
30 Rock is NOT past its prime, if you actually watch the show. The fourth season is ok (better than most crap that you actually watch), but the fifth season is amazing! Well, at least you don’t whine like the Community fans do…
yep….how could they forget southland. its like the nominating crew are watching only 10 shows on TV
Same old, same old. . .the only shows I watch with any regularity are The Closer, House, and The Good Wife. Everything else is blah to me.
The middle is just as funny as modern family, in my estimation. Whyndo they get gilted every year in every category? Weird. You can’t blame Heaton, look at Alec baldwin’s blunders, and he gets noms….
