Image Credit: Craig Sjodin/DisneySo You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley will guest star in an upcoming episode of the Disney Channel series, Shake It Up, as Ms. Winslow, the school’s vice principal. As you can tell from this exclusive First Look photo above, Deeley’s school administrator character is the butt of a practical joke by Rocky (Zendaya), who covered her entire office in bubble wrap after getting in trouble. Deeley remembers shooting on the bubble-wrapped set as more than a good time. “It was hilarious to shoot,” Deeley says, “because every time you walked on it there was just kind of crunching. You know when you’re a little kid and you play with bubble wrap all the time? There was a little bit of a child that came out in me that couldn’t stop popping the bubbles. They had to keep telling me to stop doing it!”
The experience of shooting was certainly a fun one for Deeley—but she did find herself a bit intimidated by the teenage stars of the show. “The only thing I was worried about was working with the kids because you know they are so brilliant,” she says. “You have no idea! I was actually more nervous than any of the kids. I was watching them for tips, you know?”
The Shake It Up episode Deeley guest stars in, titled “Wild It Up,” airs Jan. 9 at 8:30 p.m. on the Disney Channel.

I couldn’t agree more. I have a 6-year old daughter who watches, and it’s pretty much the worst of the Disney shows. Love Cat Deeley though and SYTYCD can’t come back fast enough!
Oh wow. I actually adore this show. Yes, it’s not the best of the best but it’s definitely not the worst. The two lead actresses are doing a fine job. And the rest of the cast are good, too. Plus, I find myself jamming along to the theme song. Sue me.

Oh my god, can’t someone make this gutter snipe go away!!! when I watch “so ya think ya kin dense” (her pronunciation), I have to hit MUTE when she speaks so I don’t go crazy. What is the appeal, that she looks like a model on steroids? She has no talent and is as annoying as you could possibly imagine. Please make it stop!!!!
