Wonder if a “F— You”/”Forget You” duet or a GLEE parody be done…

    • Heather

Hopefully. But since it would actually be clever and funny to do that, expect them to do it by adding a horrible recurring character or not at all.

      • graeme

You’d think it would be a given. Seems to big of a coincidence for them not to reference it.

      • Kris

        Like Gilly singing Forget You.

      • Mel

holy crap, seriously! Who thinks that Gilly is funny?!

      • Turanga Leela

Gilly is the worst recurring character in this history of SNL.

i can’t remember the year when she did a duet with jimmy fallon the sketch was on a club or a open mic night i don’t remember the year if it was her first hosting or the second time and i hope she sings on any sketch.

  • Heather

Maybe they won’t make singing the song (F You) a sketch and they’ll actually do it during the musical portion of the show.

    • Mike

that would be my assumption too

  • Danny

Great. Another unfunny episode on the way! Thankfully we have Jim Carrey this weekend.

    • Sara

Yes, because when I think funny, I think Jim Carrey.

i’ll watch it for Cee Lo Green

Cee Lo Green was a musical guest on SNL (in his group Gnarls Barkley) when Ashton Kutcher hosted in 2008, although this will be his first solo appearance.

      exactly

  • Tiffany

Gwyneth is forcing me to start liking her…keep it up!!!

  • I see

put this show out of its misery.

  • Phil

Just as long as Paltrow DOESN’T sing “Country Strong” I’ll be happy !! If Cee Lo performs after midnight, can he perform “F**k You” ? Or does it have to be “Forget You” ?? Anyone know??

    • Tye-Grr

      “Forget You”, obviously…

its not obvious because there are ‘safe harbor’ hours by the FCC when kids are supposed to be sleeping, and the networks can air profanity without getting fined, because of the late night hours. I was asking if anyone knew if it was possible for SNL to do the dirty version and not get fined, so CLEARLY its not an obvious answer….

Still remember Gwyneth in the “Staten Island Nurses” sketch from years ago. She was pretty fricking funny.

  • LOL

Golden Gwyneth rocks! She was great on Fallon last night.

  • Richard

    stop the madness.

  • Joe

Sadly, SNL is fading. The sketches are so weak. Even Jim Carey’s night was less than stellar. Who is doing the writting these days? It’s been just awful. They need to clean house with the writers or something. It’s sad really consideering how great the show has been over the years.
