I’d sooner choose a favorite star in the sky than pick my favorite character on Parks and Recreations. Wait. False. It’s Ron. And while this new promo from NBC (featuring new clips!) doesn’t have nearly as much as my mustachioed TV lover Ron Swanson as I’d like, I still dare you not to smile/chuckle/pee yourself a little during this sneak peek at the return of the Parks gang.
I was well aware it had been a while since we’d last seen them, but I have to admit that the sight of solo cheering Jerry and famed shoe shineist Andy Dwyer made my heart flutter with excitement. Jan. 20, get here soon. More like now. Or yesterday.

I can’t choose between Ron F****** Swanson and Andy. Or Jerry or Tom. Or Leslie and Adam Scott. Or April/Zuzu! Basically, everyone but Ann is my favorite (although Ann sans Mark is growing on me).

I think my favorite is the duo of Andy + April. They bring out the funny in each other.
I am so excited for this that it feels like my heart may burst when I get some Parks and Rec back into my life.
