ABC Family is giving its freshman breakout Pretty Little Liars a second season, while Secret Life of the American Teenager is returning for a fourth round.
Both shows got pickup announcements at TCA press tour, and neither shocked the room — the recent winter return of Liars hit a series high, while Secret Life was cable’s top-rated series among women 18-34. Both shows will debut their new seasons this summer.

Sure! Renew these but cancel the smartest shows- “Huge”, “10 Things I Hate About You”(yes-still bitter). Any word about “Melissa and Joey” Very curious to see if that’ll stick around
Agree. Last I remember hearing, Melissa & Joey was picked up for many more episodes, it’ll probably be back by spring.
What about the fate of Make It or Break It, I certainly enjoy this drama especially when the show has the beautiful Candace Cameron Bure aka DJ Tanner on Full House.
“Pretty Little Liars” is one of the top 3 programs on television right now, and this is coming from a 40 year old straight guy. It’s a mystery that gives just enough of a reveal and twist, each week, to keep viewers tuning in. I love that show.
