Justin Bieber to head back to 'CSI' on Feb. 17

Justin-Bieber-CSIImage Credit: Sonja Flemming/CBSWhile it seems Justin Bieber won’t be getting his Glee tribute episode any time soon, the teen singing sensation is set to return to TV in a big way. CBS announced today that Bieber will reprise his role (pictured here) as troubled teen Jason McCann in CSI‘s upcoming Feb. 17 episode titled “Targets of Obsession” — just in time for February sweeps. The role was Bieber’s acting debut and featured the pop star playing a kid whose brother had been killed by the CSIs at the end of season 11. This reprisal, which is currently being shot, finds series regular Nick (George Eads) tipping Bieber’s Jason off that he’s in “imminent danger,” according to the CBS release. If you can’t wait until Feb. 17 to see Bieber on a screen, though, you can always catch his new 3-D biopic/concert film, Never Say Never, which hits theaters a six days earlier on Feb. 11.

Boo! to all the legitamate shows for stunt casting… I get it that they’re trying to get a younger demo to tune in to this show, but it’s demo is solidly primarily an older (not teenage) group and torturing us with this poor excuse for an “actor” is just bad form…

Oh I’m sure they’re thrilled on the set. He was holy hell the last time he was there.

  • Summer Bay

I’d watch if he was on the slab.

  • Wendy

Yet another reason not to continue watching CSI.

  • Matt2

Any way you measure it(ratings, quality of the show, acting, etc.), his first appearance on the show was a disaster. Maybe this time he’ll be much improved.

    • jrm

Or maybe this time he’ll die. That would be an improvement

  • Jack

Error: “whose brother had been killed by the CSIs at the end of season 11.” Premiere, not finale. Season 11 isn’t over yet.

  • Miss Talk

Hollywood should stop shoving this young man down our throats because we know in a couple of years, nobody will give a da*n. Jonas Bros, anyone?

  • Michelle

to jrm……..regarding your comment “Or maybe this time he’ll die. That would be an improvement” is really uncalled for. What did you ever do at 14 and 15 years of age? Do you dislike people who reach for the stars and make something of themselves?? At 15 Justin gave his regular life for this unrecognizable, stellar life.
I’m proud of Justin, he is young and has guts. Never mind my rant, but I am his cousin and I love him.

  • Alexandra

    Ha! Nice try. LMAO

  • Jack

Do your fact checking! Season 11 hasn’t ended yet. Do the right thing and acknowledge the error!

  • Carolina

justin you is nice, very good

  • anne

they need to stop doing this, why do they have to ruin everything with justin beaver? just because he has a rich daddy? or that his daddy knows a rich daddy? or because they think that everybody loves him? i don’t have anything against bieber singing, i don’t care about that because that’s his job, but CSI? seriously? he’s not that special to be treated this way…
