Fox’s Raising Hope is getting a second season.
Hardly a shocker, the comedy is the first fully functioning live-action sitcom the network has developed in years.
“I’m happy that the show is getting another year,” says creator Greg Garcia. “But the fact I’ve been trying to think of a funny quote for the last two hours and this is the best I could come up with makes me a little nervous about season two.”

Great show and solace for us “My Name is Earl” survivors. I really hope Kate Micucci becomes a series regular. She is hilarious.
Is Kate the one from “The Riches” or from “Scrubs”? I like them both but the girl from scrubs and her “dead tooth” ep was so funny! I like her little songs too.
Nevermind. I imdb’d her. It’s Gooch from Scrubs. She’s so adorable.

Good news! This is a terrific sitcome, one of the only new network shows I’ve stuck with this season.
Yeah!!! One of a handful of shows that makes me laugh out loud every time I watch it. I usually watch & DVR at the same time so I can rewind if needed to catch the one-liners & visual gags.
Hooray, RAISING HOPE is one comedy along with Modern Family that makes me literally LOL every single time. The cast is fantastic, real and hilarious.
RUNNING WILDE, on the other hand, was unfunny dreck.

Fantastic move, Fox. This sitcom just needs a little more time to garner a larger audience, but once it does, it’s going to take off RUNNING.
