'Celebrity Apprentice': First look at the new season and cast -- EXCLUSIVE

For those of you who mourned the non-celebrityness of last season’s Apprentice, have no fear: TV’s guiltiest pleasure is back! Celebrity Apprentice returns to NBC on Sunday, March 6, and we’ve got the first official promo for you right here. I’m not sure what’s more disturbing: seeing Richard Hatch naked (again!), or the size of La Toya Jackson’s necklace. Speaking of big, you’ll also catch glimpses of Lisa Rinna’s lips as well as Mr. Steroids himself, Jose Canseco. Of course, the pièce de résistance is Gary Busey, who utters a line at the end so amazingly absurd I simply cannot spoil the thrill nor do it proper justice by repeating it here. (You have to see it for yourself.) To enjoy Busey as well as the rest of the entire Celebrity Apprentice cast in all their cheesed-out glory, click on the video below.

  • Dash

Not excited about this cast. I really liked last season of Celebrity Apprentice.

    • Joe

u kidding? gary busey is always wacked out of his mind. “You’re dealing with a vampire… who has a daypass” lol

      • Carrie

        hahahahah! I LOVE that guy!

      • Jill Marie Adams

It’s a gay pass, not a day pass!

    • Sandi

I know some of the case, but not one I would waste time to watch in this show. Maybe in their original entertainment format like singing.

    • Edward Smith

This looks like it will be lots of fun!

      Lets see what charities!

    • Diana

I agree with Dash. I really enjoyed last season’s Apprentice and would like another season with “regular” people.

      • Susan

I’m only going to watch it for David Cassidy! STILL <3 him!!

      • jaydeebee

I read somewhere that the spring seasons will feature celebrities, and the fall seasons will feature real people. I hope that’s true .. I like both.

    • Carrie

What are you talking about? This cast sounds amazing!! and I LOVE Gary Busey!!!! plus Meatloaf, a Jackson, David Cassidy. Are you kidding me? I can’t wait for March-hurry up and come!

  • Casey

Wow, this season’s cast should provide plenty of laughs.

    • lois

      looking forward to this

  • Maggie May

Wow! should be fun — they are all crazy.

    • tina

WOW this should be good! Gotta DVR it!

  • TorontoTom

When does The Era of Humiliation TV end?!? WHEN???

  • Sternshein

    Who is that Nene girl?

    • madduxfan

She is from the Bravo series “Real Housewives of Atlanta”

    • ugly nikki

wow, you are culturally out of touch. Next, you ‘ll be asking who Snooki is

      • Jeff M.

        Who is Snooki?

      • Jeff M.

        lol just kidding

      • BDup

Not sure that I would use Nene or Snoooki as “culture” reference, pop culture okay.

      • G8rfan

A better question might be, WHY is Snookie????

      • Carrie

Not everyone watches housewives… I had no idea who she was either!

  • Lex

Nene Leakes? Really? I can see the rest as business people that may surprise us but from watching her show….yeahhhhhhhh….

  • Nick

    YES – It looks fantastic.

  • jay

bunch of losers except for meatloaf (maybe)

    • ugly nikki

      really…meatloaf is the standout?

    • m-1

Agree, Meatloaf is o.k. and I think the biggest loser if THE DONALD!!!!

    • Jill Marie Adams

David will floor people with his business talents. He learned the hard way to rebuild hid fortune many time over along woth his sweet wife Sue. He had a squeeky clean image until the age of 61.A DUI from a cop lying in wait after a funeral. Who else in the industry can say that?

      • Denianne

LOL if you think David Cassidy was squeaky clean until 61 you are delusional. And his personality will clash with everyone, he can’t take orders from anyone else. And anyway, the fact he got arrested on Nov 4th should tell you how long he lasted from the beginning of Celebrity Apprentice taping last October. He should be Sheen’s rehab mate.

  • Country Girl

I rotflmao.. just from the promo. I can only imagine the show itself.

  • Julie

The Busey line does not live up your hype, Dalton. It’s not remotely funny, intentionally or otherwise.

    • Josh

Considering he calls it ‘amazingly absurd,’ I’d say it lives up to that. Absurd: utterly or obviously senseless, illogical, or untrue; contrary to all reason or common sense

      • Julie

Absurd? Yes. Amazingly? Not even close. It’s lame and pointless. Busey clearly thinks he’s funny, but he’s pathetically witless. Not worth the time it took to watch the ad (I know: the only point was to get us to watch it). The fact that it’s included in the ad means that 1) the editor is equally lame or 2) this is the best they’ve got. Bad for business either way.

      • Carrie

To julie below-I think Gary Busey is hilarious-have you ever even watched him in other things-like the roasts on the comedy channel. He is absurdly funny. but everyone’s sense of humour is different. I can’t want to see him on CA!! This is great!

    • WNC girl

oh contraire….very funny, you must not know Gary like the rest of do.

      • WNC girl

        Booo Julie

  • Karate Pants

I’m going to officially enter my prediction, right here, right now…Lil’ Jon for the win!
Anyone else feel a little queasy every time one of these shows brings Gary Busey on board? I know I should really care, but compare to the rest of the crazy, he IS mentally ill and whether they pay him well or not, it’s exploitative.

    • mscisluv

I didn’t watch the video because I figured I’d skip this season, but…Lil Jon is going to be on? And Meatloaf? This I ahve to see!

    • Marilyn

Gary B’s line at the end of the trailer seemed pretty normal. I was expecting some weird stuff… I think he means well.

  • BHM1304

Oh “Meatloaf”….I just put on my “Bat Out of Hell” album the other day and remembered what an awesome combination you and Jim Steinman made back in the day. You don’t need Trump and this ridiculous show or “Glee”, you just need Jim Steinman back.

    • Brenda Barrett

Just have to second your love for Jim Steinman. What an awesome talent, both with and w/o Meatloaf. Steinman’s “Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through” is still one of my ten favorite songs of all-time.

    • PrincessBride

It drives my kids crazy but I still listen to Bat out of Hell all the time. It’s my favorite driving music. Meatloaf and Steinman – pure magic.

  • jared4ever

A cringe-inducing extravaganza! Bring on the crazy…can’t wait.

    • jenkay

      I know!! It’s like a D-list train wreck…ya gotta look!

  • jared4ever

Now if we could just do all this without Donald Trump I’d be delighted.

    • Karate Pants

Totally. Ivanka and George could handle it without him (and no more of creepy Don Jr. either, please).

      • jared4ever

I totally agree. Don Jr. is like a slimy mini version of Donald.

      • WNC girl

yes, don’t like the Donald Jr. miss no-nonsense George. Probably could get away with not watching the show…and I know that Gary Busy is a train wreck now, but he will forever be Buddy Holly to me and thus earns my forever love and admiration

  • Bingo-boy

Talk about jumping the shark. There is not one person on this show that I want to spend even 30 seconds watching. A shame- last season was great. I think Joan Rivers should refuse to come back and take part in this.

    • ugly nikki

what you fail to understand is that the success of a show is based on its viewers between certain ages. Just because you are over 50 and aren’t comfortable watching anyone without a cowboy hat on, doesn’t make your opinion valid.

      • BDup

wow – seems a little harsh, especially when we’re just talking about a tv show.
