BET wasn’t the only cable network with record numbers Tuesday night. The third season premiere of Comedy Central’s Tosh.0 delivered 3.6 million viewers — that’s the biggest audience ever for the show, up 107% from its summer premiere. In the adult demo, Tosh got a 2.1, which was bigger than V on ABC last night.
Tosh made headlines over the summer when the comedian hit a previous series high of 2.4 million and surpassed Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert as the network’s most popular host. For those who missed it, here’s Daniel at press tour last week defending his show’s racy humor.

Too bad the season premiere was low on laughs. Hopefully next week. Sportsdome, on the other hand, was hilarious!
