We already know that school can be scary, but this SyFy project is taking it to a whole new level:Â The cable network announced today that it is developing a one-hour reality series with Mark Burnett (Survivor) called School Spirits. The project, which is also from Seth Jarrett (Celebrity Ghost Stories), will focus on hauntings that have occurred on school campuses nationwide.
“Paranormal encounters at high schools and colleges often become legendary stories spanning and touching generations,” said Mark Stern, Syfy president of original programming in a statement. “We’re excited to partner with Mark and Seth as they bring compelling, firsthand stories to life.”
My god syfy enough with the ghost shows. All of the ones you have now are crap just plain crap. no Stargate but boy u sure can pump out the crap ghost shows good for u I am done with syfy.

when you have your shoes stacked and placed by the (inside) front door and you live alone, rooms filling with perfume smells even tho no one wears any, faucet tips missing one minute and back on another and you don’t drink, do drugs of anykind, it gets to the point of believing in ghosts.
I agree, there are celebrity ghost stories and ghost hunting and ghostly tales. We have the most fun mocking the ghost hunters. How many times can they end the show, saying, yeah, it proves there were ghosts. Why? because there was a lot of noise in a creeky old house? The cat was mewling? A photo of a light looks ghostly? It’s funny once or twice, but an show after show dedicated to this tripe? More Eureka and other fun programming!
I hope the show covers the “Exorcism Room” at Catholic University. That story’s a creeper!
I hope they go to my old college! There are a few great ghost stories there.
I want sci fi not ghosts, demons, or giant bugs, snakes or sharks!
bring back Star Gate, any Star Trek, Babylon 5, even the original Battlestar Galactica anyday!!!!!!!!
A lot of those campus ghost stories are just made up. There’s usually a burial ground of some kind, or one building on campus used to be an insane asylum. Of course, ghost stories by nature are kind of suspicious, but I believe the campus ones far less.

Yes SyFy, that’s definitely how to hold onto your core audience. More of the same garbage. At this rate, there will be nothing worth watching on the network very very soon.
