'Hawaii Five-0' exclusive video: First Look at the special tsunami episode

Alex-O-LoughlinImage Credit: Mario Perez/CBSAs we promised in yesterday’s edition of Spoiler Room, here’s an exclusive First Look at the special Jan. 23 episode of Hawaii Five-0, which airs on a Sunday following the AFC Championship game on CBS.

In the episode, called “Tidal Wave,” the team goes up against one of their most terrifying foes ever: a tsunami. And it becomes a race against the clock in more ways than one when the head of the Tsunami Warning Center goes missing.

OMG I can’t wait!!! This is going to be one of those “can’t breathe” episodes! Fantastic! Thank you for the spoiler!

    • LEO

I thought that still pic meant that Kelly and Scott Caan were having a realtionship and I kind of like the way they look together.

      • Nina

No, that was just Boomer giving Danno a surfing lesson (not a euphemism). Too bad, because I was really hoping Kelly Hu was going to be a love interest for Scott Caan’s Danny. Caan & Grace Park do have chemistry, but I can’t see them going there, being co-workers and all. Of course, Scott Caan has chemistry with everyone.

    • Alan Stanwyck

Look’s great. I heard the main sponsor for that episode is Wingman Pheromones. It Works!

  • Jimmy

Like so many H5-0 plot, completely lame idea. Between these bad stories and Alex O’Loughlin’s terrible acting this remake has squandered a really good concept.

    • a cooperberg

maybe you don’t know what good acting is! maybe your just jealous……

      • MLBIT

What get’s me is how so many say they don’t like this show but yet they are still looking up stuff and watching trailers of the show…IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT STAY AWAY AND SHUT UP.

      • SueN

Right. Everybody who gives a negative review/opinion is just jealous.

    • Overdamoon

      Jealous much? ‘nuf said.

    • Steve

I love this show but agree that Alex’s acting is not a good as the rest. The show is great so I overlook this.

    • Debbie

Well gee Jimmy don’t you mean Jack Lord? Alex is far from a terrible actor and i think their is some jealousy in their lol Don’t worry mate you won’t ever match him so I under how you must feel……… Wanker LMAO!!

      • Vrinda

No, he doesn’t mean Jack Lord. Jack Lord was a good actor. What have you got against him? Jealousy, as well?

      • Vrinda

P.S. It’s “there” and not “their.” Idiot!

      • donna

i agree with you debs i think alex is a fab actor i would love to meet him in real life and all the actors bring something good to the shows

      • Trina

Well, gee, Debbie, can’t you read? Jimmy was talking about Alex O’Loughlin. He said he was a terrible actor. Jack Lord was a great actor. Tearing Jack down to make Alex look better isn’t going to work. And also, learn how to spell.

    Bleh

  • Del Taco

When the Patriots humiliate their opponent, the only thing that can make Sunday 23, 2011 better is seeing Grace Park in a bikini.
    Life is good.
    ………

    • Jack

      @DelTaco
Well put. Grace Park in a bikini makes anything better.

    • Bill from Las Vegas

Hey Del Taco, the CHEATriots and coach BelaCHEAT are going to be watching Grace Park in her bikini from home on the 23rd!!!!!

    • ThunderMug

The Patsies lost, you tool! Go Jets!

  • Barry

What did they show of it? NOTHING! I’m sure that CBS will drag out the game’s ending recap so that 5-0 will NOY start on time. They play this game of late starting programs every Sunday during football season. Thank God for my FIOS VOD service.

    • ben

God. Just shup up and be happy CBS is trying to get more viewers by airing H50 after the game. Or maybe you would rather one of CBS’s better shows having that time slot?

  • Trixie

    Tsunamis aren’t tidal waves :S

    • J

True, but tsunami isn’t any better a term, as it means “harbor wave” and they certainly aren’t exclusive to harbors.

      “Seismic wave” would work.

  • twinmom

Oh Alex, you rock my world….sigh.

  • selene

I can’t wait for this episode! Alex O is fantastic as Steve Mc Garrett!
    Thanks for the clip.

  • matt

Stopped watching after the 3rd episode. A tsunami won’t bring me back.

    • Phew—

Thanks for leting me know, I’ve been losing sleep.

    • Overdamoon

Note sure why people who don’t watch H5-0 even bother to read this article or watch the video clip.

Can’t wait to see this ep. Danno has funny lines. And he’s finally shirtless. :D

  • BRANDII ALIZE’

Can’t wait for this episode!1 Love Alex in everything he does. He rocks as Steve McG!

  • Alberta

OMG !!! I can hardly wait for this episode , it looks like it will be great !!!!

  • Mandy

    Booooring !!

  • MD

I love this show -it’s entertaining!
for all the haters why do you even bother to read the piece about a show you dislike?

    • Wendy

Because losers like this have to slam anything in order to make themselves feel better. If you hate the show so much, stop watching.

  • Brett

LOL! Wait. Are they serious? Oh. Well I couldn’t get into this show as I didn’t really “buy” it, and this just strengthens the argument

  • caryn

I had a few stacked up on my DVR because after a few episodes I thought the show was kind of boring. I watched those shows recently and it has renewed my interest in the show. If you also stopped watching because of boredom, give the show another shot. They have a story arc going now with McGarrett’s family that gives the show purpose. Oh, and AO is just lovely :)
