In a blink-and-you-missed-it moment from NBC’s three-hour comedy marathon last night, 30 Rock‘s Jack Donaghy presented the network’s “programming priorities breakdown” pie chart:
The comedy block did pretty well for NBC, by the way, with The Office and the return of Parks & Recreation hitting ratings highs.

Why did the recaps for 30 Rock go away? This last episode was full of gems and would have loved reliving them through the recap! Also, bring back the Community and Cougar Town recaps please!

The best part of the episode was Liz’s press conference for the Jack and Elizabeth Donaghy High School for Teen Drama, The Arts, and Feelings. I could not stop laughing.
That was hilarious. I also loved their realization at the end that they are each other’s longest lasting relationship. “Try to walk like a woman”
So what gives with there not being a 30 Rock recap? You’ve been doing them all season, so why did they stop now?
And what about Parks and Rec? EW has been promoting its return a lot over the past week, so why not make sure to recap it?
30 Rock is back in top form with this episode. I laughed out loud many times. It was brilliant and should have been recapped.
Can someone explain to me why there is no longer a recap of this show, but garbage like Jersey Shore, 16 and Pregnant, Real Housewives… etc. are recapped? Thanks to EW for participating in the constant dumbing-down of America.
