Debbie Gibson and Tiffany in absurd 'Mega Python vs. Gatoroid' video clip -- EXCLUSIVE

Mega-Python-Debbie-GibsonImage Credit: SyfyBecause we know you can’t wait another minute for the SyFy channel’s latest movie, Mega Python vs. Gatoroid, we’ve secured this exclusive video peek of a wrestling match between a giant snake and a very large alligator. Sadly, you’ll still have to wait till Jan. 29 to see the film’s most beastly battle, a food-throwing, bitch-slapping catfight at a wedding reception between costars—and former mall-diva icons—Tiffany and Debbie Gibson. “I’ve got a couple of scrapes and bruises, but I didn’t get injured during the catfight scene,” Gibson tells EW. “It was just a lot of whipped cream to get out of my hair afterward.”

Check out the video after the jump:

    Debbie Gibson, definitely

Holy crap Debbie Gibson looks awful. Poor thing – anorexia much? Debbie and Tiffany have gone in total opposite directions, body-shape-wise, that is (not career-wise)

  • Amanda

I wasn’t around for their heyday, but looking at them now, they look like the same person. Except one is rather sickly looking while the other is still rather striking. Tiffany for the win.

Got that backwards I think, as Tiffany is more than a little overweight (at least 30 pounds), while Gibson is actually healthy.

      • Amanda

I can see that Tiffany has a few extra pounds, but she looks more curvaceous than anything else while Debbie looks like a skeleton. Given, I’m just going off the picture, but she doesn’t look healthy to me. She needs a few more pounds.

If you think Debbie looks healthy while Tiffany looks overweight, you obviously come from the Fashion Industry. Debbie Gibson could pose for a poster at an Eating Disorders clinic. Tiffany looks hot and juicy.

      • Ashley

I agree Alan, Tiffany looks great, Debbie looks sickly

  • DJ

    Craptastic as usual, SyFy.

    SHAZAM! Is that Tiffany?!?!?!

  • Johnny T

No way Amanda. Debbie Gibson definitely every day of the week. And twice on Thursdays,

It was so funny with that clip. It’s good to see Debbie Gibson and Tiffany on something, such as this movie. But I really remember the fall/winter of late 1987 and the first 4 to 5 months of 1988–that’s when Debbie and Tiffany’s singles and debut albums were duking it up for chart space on the charts. They look great today!

Most music fans remember that time too. Hard to forget the time you lost all faith in American music and the people who were buying it, and all of us music fans wanted to kill ourselves when we turned on MTV. It’s amazing how much babysitting money was being passed around amongst people with no taste.

      • Debbie Downer

Hi, Ian. I think we might be a match. Not the kind that starts house fires. House fires that kill 500,000 pets each year…almost as deadly as feline AIDS. meow

It is pretty amazing how hugely successful they were at such a young age. Tiffany was 15 when her album came OUT, not to mention how young she must have been when she landed the recording deal. And Debbie Gibson was writing all of her own songs at age 15 and 16.

So just how much did SyFy pay to get this promoted on EW?

  • Sally

$2.50 and a free concert at the EW office in Woodbridge Mall

    • Chris

They even provided the karaokesque backing tracks.

  • Cara

I LOVED Debbie Gibson back in the day. Why am I so disappointed in the way she looks in this pic?

  • Fridge

Debbie Gibson looks terrible in that picture. Yikes!

  • Meli

That’s nowhere near as good as the Sharktopus.

    • Mocha

Sharktopus might actually be my favorite bad movie of all time.

  • Stephanie T.

Tiff got an enhancement and Deb needs to eat a dozen cheeseburgers. Damn!

  • Rack

Gibson is way too thin, plus with the bleached hair makes her look pretty bad. Tiffany looks good.

  • greg

Tiffany for sure. She looks like adult movie star Raylene

  • marilinda

the real question is… are they playing the same characters from their previous ScyFy movies. continuity here, people!
