Should be a great interview. Michelle Obama is such an interesting First Lady!

    • heather

By interesting do you mean unpleasant and self rightous?

  • yes

yeah big deal. who the heck cares about military families? um, i do and do millions of others. separate the person from the topic guys. you can hate the Obama’s all you want, but going on a popular tv show to talk about making sure our military families are taken care of, is FOR THE FAMILIES, not for mrs obama. any help for those guys and gals is welcomed.

To refresh people’s memory, President Obama appeared on the othe daytime show, THE VIEW. It was the first time a sitting Pres. appeared on a day time show. His reason was that The View was the only show Michelle actually watched. I could almost feel that slap on Oprah’s face after all her promotion of Obama for Pres. Now Michelle is going to be a Guest on her show, any wonder that 2012 Re-election is right around the corner. Hmmm….

I heard Oprah believes in the Laws Of Attraction and that Secret pagan crap. She even proclaimed she visualized Obama in the White House with his family. Oprah now thinks she is God whose mere visualizations change the course of History and elect Presidents. This woman has an ego bigger that is twice the size of Texas and Illinois combined! She now this she is as powerful as God. THe difference is God will be the object of adoration and worship in another hundred years and she will be a pack of dust with a tiny footnote in some irrelevant entertainment history book titled “remember when.”

Interview?? Please.. The first lady on Oprah. What a joke.

  • Freddie

It is quite sad that our president and first lady feel the need to continually go on tv. I guess they believe their voters dont read newspapers. They have really destroyed the integrity of the office. Couldnt they find a better way to be famous? Next, reality TV at the white house!

    • Ryan

It is quite sad that you saw such an uninformed comment. Do you think many people still do read the newspapers? If you do, you’re flat out wrong. Newspapers and magazines are dying at worst, fledgling at best. And young voters (meaning under 40) read newspapers at an alarmingly low rate. Between the number of TV viewers, DVR’s, and the fact that TV clips end up on YouTube and all around the Internet, such appearances are the only logical source to get to a large population of the country. Michelle Obama giving the same interview to a writer for the LA Times or Boston Globe wouldn’t get 1/10 of the press.

I agree with you Freddie, they care a hell of a lot more about what people think about them than about actually improving the country. Obama would rather be popular and on tv than risk losing some of his zealot fans by making unpopular yet effective political decisions.
