Attention Samuel L. Jackson and Tommy Lee Jones: Your Emmy awaits. On Feb. 12, HBO brings us The Sunset Limited, a small screen adaptation of the 2006 play from No Country for Old Men author Cormac McCarthy. The telefilm, appropriately, focuses on two nameless old men, a Christian ex-convict played by Jackson and atheist professor played by No Country alum Jones. Expect lots of discussion of life’s big questions (ex. “Do you ever think about Jesus?”) and plenty of Jackson crazyface. Oh, and all the action takes place in one room. So try not to be disappointed when you discover a shark isn’t there with them.

I WILL TELL MY FRIENDS NOTHING!
Wow, really? thats all I have to do, just go to that website? WHO KNEW??? Im going to tell all my friends about it immediately!!
Could be interested. They look pretty old and broken down in this trailer. Not even close to how they looked in Rules of Engagement, made in 2000. I just watched it for the first time about two weeks ago. They worked well together
I hope both of these guys realized the playing field here, and gave it everything they had. Could be epic, and I’m really hoping it doesn’t disappoint.
Well, they can’t both win Emmys, unless they try to do something goofy like claiming one of them is a supporting actor.
Looks awesome! I’m not familiar with the play, but I’ve liked a lot of McCarthy’s other work; this sounds like it’s going to be powerful stuff.
Samuel Jackson is exactly as I imagined the character when I read the play. Exactly.
Epic!!!
That shark scene is still awesome. thank you for including it.
