FX's badass 'Justified' season two posters

Now that Steven Seagal’s A&E reality show is finished, can FX get the name Lawman back? Because the second season posters for Justified brings back to mind the show’s original working title before that damned Seagal series nabbed it first. I’ve seen the first few episodes of S2 and they are quite strong, Justified fans — more consistent than the first season, which started out a bit rocky after its terrific pilot. Here’s U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, taking aim:

I grew up in Kentucky. Never saw anyone in law enforcement who looked like Timothy Olyphant. Damn.

    • BP

      I said damn again.

  • jrs

As long as Timothy Olyphant was in it, there were NO rocky episodes last season. Just love this show…can’t wait for the season to start!!!

    • sarCC

Agreed. It was a much stronger show than most dramas last year. Definitely stacks up to Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Terriers.

      • jk

It’s not as good as MM or BB, but it is worth the time. Can’t wait for season 2.

I can’t wait for Season 2! These posters look amazing, and if the show stays as raw and terrific in it’s second season, FX is going to have a big hit on it’s hands.

Amongst all the police procedurals, this is the only cop show I watch. It’s fantastic.

The season finale was one of the best finales I’ve seen in a long time. I can’t remember the last time a TV has made me say “yes!” and “hell yeah!” out loud.

      SouthLAnd.

  • Matt

Justified is good, but no Terriers.

    • Nicotine

Don’t remind me. I’m still upset about that. I miss Terriers.

      • ^^

Terriers= Too much macho posturing dressed up as easy going underdogs for me.

        Now these posters- LOVE.

  • B

Love the posters! Can’t wait for season 2 to start. BTW, I like the name Justified. Lawman sounds too generic, while Justified makes you wonder just *what* is justified, and also taps into a bit of Raylan’s personality. Besides, the title is established now.

    • Sandra

I agree, “Justified” is a perfect title.

Except my mother (despite loving the show) never had any idea what I was talking about when I reminded her that “Justified is on tonight.”

My unofficial title is “the hot cowboy show” because my mom always knows what show I’m referring to when I call it that.

    • TQB

Call it “That Rockin’ Shoot ‘em up Show” for all I care, just bring it on!!

  • Greg

Terriers was good, but no Justified.

  • kim in kentucky

    DAMNNNNNNNNNN !

    • Lil’

…and how. Feel like I’m fanning myself at a Wild West saloon.

      • M

Don’t talk about MY imaginary husband like that!

  • megan

    I’m excited!

  • Cinema Goddess

Love, love, love Timothy Olyphant. He is so hot and I’m loving the fact that he’s on tv so I can see him every week. I’ve watched “The Crazies” and “The Perfect Getaway” like a dozen times.

    • M

Have you ever seen him in Hitman? In those yummy suits? Also, he has a couple movies coming out, I cannot wait to see them.

  • Christie

These are great posters! I can’t wait for season two, the show is fantastic and Timothy Olyphant is perfect as Raylan.

    • Lorie

      You got that right!

  • VLh

    how do I get one?

    • ks

      me too

  • ks

LOVE THESE! counting down the days :)

  • Tee

I know someone already said this, but it needs to be reiterated….DAMNNNN!!!!

  • Dave

I just started watching this show. I didn’t really have time for it last spring when it premiered and I was kinda bummed I missed out. But FX has been airing the season 1 episodes on Saturday nights for the past few weeks. I’m really enjoying it and I’m glad I’m getting into it just before season 2. I’m really excited. I just have the last two episodes to watch, which I believe are airing either this Saturday or maybe Monday, I can’t remember (they’re set to record on my DVR).
By the way, I actually like the title Justified a lot better than Lawman.
